I've never modded before but after starting to play as the dread lord necromancer mod i was curios how hard would it be for a newb to alter the mod and make this learnable for the warlock and run on warlock spell slots? or even better question how hard would it be to make a fel-firebolt mod that replaces firebolt with a fel variant? sorry im not asking for a guide i just figured since you have experience making this you could give some insight.
As the vfx library already has a green firebolt it would be fairly easy, just make a copy of the original Firebolt alter damage types and VFX UUID and add it to an item or even make your own subclass
Well no, because i had that issue too, caused by BetterLoot. But using Srychalis SummonChest mods puts the scrolls in the Scrolls book https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/4687
If BetterLoot conflicts with anything that means it is not being loaded correctly; if it still looks right (eg BetterLoot at the top of the load order) in your mod manager then there is an error in your: C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\PlayerProfiles\Public\modsettings.lsx You can edit that file with a text editor if you know what you are doing, but easier to just delete it and have the game/mod manager recreate it. Step-by-step directions for doing this have been added as a pinned comment. (on Betterloot)
I'm not complaining because I don't really care, just genuinely curious. I play with controller, and on the radial menu, yours and a couple of other custom spells I have installed show a black square with a ? instead of the custom spell icon. I know it's installed correctly because it shows the icons when I swap back to keyboard. This isn't every custom spell, like the ones from the Basket mod have their icons in both, so I'm assuming there's an extra asset that's needed? Just curious.
Well I guess ColtrollerUI is the place for the Asset's, and they are filled. I need to check out why they don't get init. Testing will be sorta hard without controller ^^
Edit: If you even feel the desire to. I want to emphasize I wasn't trying to pressure you, I was just legitimately curious. It shows the name of the spell, so it all functions properly aside from that. And it's very fun!
Hi nice mod and works perfect. I miss pure cold balls/rays/storms for my frigid adept build. Are cold versions planned in future releases? Thanks for your work!
no chance you could tag some sort of spoiler article for where in the underdark you placed the static drop, could you? thanks! (yes I know i could just download the tutorial chest, but for me it's getting clogged and it bothers my OCD) please!
