This doesn't change the hair and the Vanilla version is basically the old textures, just with the eyelids altered and a mole added. If anything, you could try deleting the Astarion dds files and just leave the GR2.
Thank you so much for this mod! I love men with long hair, he looks great! Umm, if possible would you be able to make a file just for the hair so I can add it to my Astarion? :) I really like it :) I am trying to make my Astarion look like Thranduil from the Hobbit / Lord of the Rings series lol, and this hair works kinda perfect for that...Maybe add a file with this hair and different colors?? if possible... :)
Your best bet is to use Appearance Edit Enhanced, once you get it and the script extender installed you can completely change around every aspect of your companions. That's how I changed his hair. :)
It uhhh doesn't replace anything in the data folder, and yes the actual data folder. Not sure what the issue is, but the described installation method doesn't seem to work.
Edit #1: I thought maybe it needed to be taken out of the first folder with the mod name as the title and just put "Generated" in to the Data folder. Then just the face changed, but not the hair. So thats something? But yeah literally just extracting it to Data doesn't do anything.
Edit #2: I'm now realizing that thats not part of this mod, and retract my statements, but this will be here to inform anyone who gets confused, but i am correct about the installation method. Don't just extract directly to Data. You need to take the file named "Generated" and put it in Data.
Love this version of Astarion!! Would you mind adding a version of your alternative face texture without the mole? That conversation always read to me as Tav just being a dick since Astarion cannot actually check if him having a mole is true, so him actually having the mole would feel off to me.
This is how, frankly, all the elves in this game should look like. The "MMMF" version look Asian but that's the best elven model I've seen in this game - vanilla elves look like normal humans

Thanks for trying at least. :D
I was attempting it and then started questioning my own sanity... wondering if I had some form of face blindness.
