does this make any sense lore-wise? no. does it compel me? yes. these were inspired by balthazar's concept art, which i always found pretty interesting, and decided to turn them into scars for the character creator. there are four options to choose from and i might add more later.
i still can't come up with a good reason as to why your average tav would end up a myrkulite but alas, enjoy.
VERY IMPORTANT DONUT SKIP!!11!
this is a scar replacer, it doesn't add any new standalone scars; therefore, it will be incompatible with any other mods that edit the scars file (SKIN_Shared_Scars_MSK.DDS). it replaces scar 9, which you can see pictured down below. only install one file at a time. there's still no way to add completely new scars that i know of, sorry :(
there will be some deformation depending on the head shape. this is unavoidable since every race and preset uses the same scar map and the designs rely heavily on geometric shapes.
i don't know if this is compatible with unique tav or not. feel free to add compatibility on your own, but i won't do it.
how 2 install (and uninstall) drop the "Generated" folder of whatever options you picked into C:/Program Files (x86)/Baldurs Gate 3/Data, or if your game is installed with Steam, C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Data. to uninstall, simply delete the folder and the cc scars will go back to normal.
