woah, very cool! Too bad I uninstalled and unsubbed from FFXIV so I can no longer rip its armos easily with TexTools, else I was going to try modding Fray's armor and Law's Order fending set.
If you manage to do that please please please please please add Bozja Fending/Maiming set? We really need more rough veteran coats in this game. Bonus point if there's Skyworker's Helm to go with soldier looks. We already have gunblade mod here it would be so cool
Fantastic work my friend. Question is adding custom items I.E. Armors and head pieces something a regular person like me could figure out or does it require expert computer knowledge as I have wanted so badly to add some things but there is like no steb by steb by step guides anywhere that would take me from start to finish. Either way good work.
I mean yeah, feasibly, with enough time and dedication
a lot of the difficulty comes from figuring what processes to look up/research initially, which I can give some really loose advice on
https://youtu.be/IbivHL2lPrc?si=eV45jufD9eiYAHuI links a kinda outdated mod template (rectified easily enough by just unpacking a working mod and using that as a base) but does a good job of breaking down the otherwise really confusing specifics of adding new items to bg3
the stuff outside of that video for custom meshes comes down to orienting yourself in blender n understanding some basic 3d modeling concepts (after you figure out the absolute basics like importing models/the relevant bg3 assets, rigging meshes to an armature is prolly the big general thing to look into, looking up how to do a weight transfer is prolly the quickest way to get a custom armor up and running from there)
the rest is the dirty specific details in between and trying to debug when things go wrong, the bg3 modding channels in the larian studios official discord is probably the best place to look at/ask once you get that far
