How can I be narrow when I am Chinese myself. I know exactly what I am talking about. Tsk tsk. You are confused with 纹身 and 刺面. You are certainly misguided with the belief that ethnicity equal knowledge.
The face is often not touched because of its association with criminal. Unless you are the minority in China who have a tradition of tattooing on their faces. Or are you confused with rebels and bandits who does have tattoo all over their bodies? Or you think Yue Fei tattooing by his mother a norm for people to have before going to the frontal and protect the country?

Its strange, I mean I know, I saw multiple tatoo mods which is just a replacement. Strange why we cant add the new tattoes but we can add new hairs. For now I didnt toch character visuals modding part, but I am using my own personal way to do mods for this game, maybe I will find a way how to do it, we shall see

我感觉这个憨逼的思想还停留在封建社会，完全无视中国自古以来就是一个多民族融合的国家

有关刺青的冷知识
《中国的纹身可不是舶来品，也不是罪犯专属》
提起纹身的源头，大多数人的想法，不外乎有两点。
要么，是从西方传来，是舶来品；要么，是从先秦开始，是刺配黥面的犯人专属，但这些，都不是事实。
中国的纹身，源起何时，由于缺少对应的史料记载，自然是很难考证，但就已有的考古发现来看，怎么都不会是从先秦的所谓刺配开始的。
在《礼记》、《管子》、《山海经》、《左传》、《墨子》、《庄子》、《谷梁传》、《战国策》、《淮南子》直至《异物志》、《说苑》、《汉书》、《后汉书》、《交广春秋》、《隋书》、《旧唐书》等等文献中，都提到过“雕题”、“雕身”、“文身”等词汇，对此的注释，也多是有关地域和民族的习俗，与刺配一事，多不相干。
并且直至近现代，中国各民族的纹身文化，也并非有贬义的意味。
独龙族、黎族妇女的文面习俗；傣族人纹龙蛇；布朗族纹几何图案和动物纹样；基诺族女的纹小腿，男的纹手臂；佤族胸前纹牛头，手腕纹飞鸟，腿上刺林木；德昂族手肘刺经文；布依族胸口纹龙兽……这些民族中的纹身习俗，又有哪个，是跟刺配黥面有关的呢？
种种迹象表明，大多数人心目中中国纹身的起源，都是错误的，而事实上，在经年的现代考古发现之中，早有了对于中国纹身起源的猜想。
广西武鸣县马头古墓中，出土的有钢针。广西岩壁画，福建华安县的“摩崖石刻”，浙江义乌的西汉陶培，连云港将军崖的岩画中，都画的有纹身的人。在河南安阳的殷商古迹中，更发掘出纹身相关的物件。
这些都代表着，中国的文身文化，最早可追溯到几万年前的中石器时代，最迟也在新石器时代，便已诞生。
并且当时的文身习俗，分布区域十分广泛，几乎覆盖了全部中华民族的活动区域，并且各民族间，文身纹样的差别各异，说明文身的习俗，覆盖的民族数量众多，彼此并无主次。
当年参与组织和发掘了安阳殷商遗迹的李济先生，在他2000年出版的著作《安阳》中提及，“安阳发现的两件艺术品，一出土就吸引了我的注意力。一座大理石去干像，身上雕刻着类似纹身印记的图案；一个雕刻着饕餮面的骨柄，饕餮面从上到下排列着。这两件艺术品，使我找到了古代纹身习俗和图腾制存在的证据。”
种种发掘出的证据，都在反驳着大多数人认知中的中国纹身，时至今日，对于中国文身的源起，早已有了不同于大多数人认知的证明。
早在石器时代，中国文身便已存在于先民社会中。当时的人们，利用石灰、黄土和植物的色素，将图案涂抹在身上，但这种方法，会随着时间而消失。
后来，人们便开始在身上伤口的疤痕处，注入色素，以达到将纹样长期留在身上的效果，这就是最原始的中国文身。
从彩陶文化，到三星堆的遗址都证明了，中国古代纹身行为的分布很广泛，文身图案的选取和文身的理由，也各不相同，但这些习俗，都并不具有社会阶级上的褒贬性质。
纹身这一行为，只是古中国神秘文化的一部分，早在商朝，人们在祭祀的时候，便把涂料抹在身上，以作为神鬼的化身，纹身自此，也只是个性的体现，和辈辈流传的习俗。
一直以来，有关纹身的理性推断，都是从宗教立场，或是崇拜主义来审视，所谓舶来品，或是刺配黥面的遗留，都只是一些人的无知，和人云亦云而已。
现代中国，经过数十年义务素质教育的推行，年轻人们早已不是当年愚民的样子，对待任何事物，也都有了相对理性的看法。
随着年轻一代的成熟，从石器时代发展至今的纹身，也会慢慢磨灭人们对它的误解，真正的贴合进人们的生活中来。
