  1. Hi its me again!
    I feel awful to say this, since you've fixed so much in regards to bugs I've found, but well.... I found another one.
    Zariel tieflings don't seem to get guiding bolt at level 3 anymore.

  2. I feel like such an ass coming back here to report new bugs. Sorry.
    Anyways, I noticed- that with Karlach at least- the guiding bolt racial spell for Zar tieflings is actually tied to spell slots instead of being a once per short/long rest spell like most racial spells are.
    Sorry again. If it helps, I really enjoy the mod.

    Just commenting- I found a pretty big bug- when I go to respec Karlach, it won't let me finish, saying there are still choices pending.
    I'm assuming that's due to her not having a default cantrip selected. Just thought I'd mention.
    Edit- after looking in character creation, Karlach does not have a base cantrip selected. I'd recommend the Thamu cantrip.
    Hopefully any fix won't require a new playthrough.
    Edit- I saw a potential fix on the half-elf page, about multiclassing. I'll post if that works or not in a little while.

    Ok, quick question: do the tiefling subraces get their base spells, (such as the Mephi subrace getting flame blade summon), or is this a full replace rather than an addition?
    I love giving them the demon sight- that really fits I think

      oh- additional question- is there any reason for keeping the darkvision trait when Devil's Sight is there now? (just wondering about ways to prevent bloat in the modifiers tab

      Consider it a replacer. Their normal cantrips should be one of their options at level one and they still get fire resist and dark vision at level one as normal. But the other spells are changed.

      Devil sight and dark vision actually have different affects. Devilsight just makes them immune to blindness from magic effects like fog and darkness. Dark vision allows them to see in mundane darkness. 

      I understand the passives list in your inv can be annoying when it gets long, but it's pretty much inevitable im afraid. Once you have magic items and permanent passives from quests it gets quite long and messy anyway. All my characters had like a full page worth of scrolling by the end of act 2.

    Mod seems to conflict with Tiefling Claws (https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/2595?tab=description) resulting in crash.

      Did you use the compatibility version of that mod? It is likely changing the level 1 tiefling progression entry and possibly editing the spellist instead of adding a spell list. so it's unlikely to be compatible. Compatibility version is probably adding it some other way.

      It's weird that it causing a crash though. One should just overwrite the changes of the other theoretically.

      Yeah, tried all versions of the claws mod, same result. Even more interesting is the fact that it crashes even when choosing races other than tieflings (like drow), and I got no mods affecting drow.

      it must be conflicting with something else. But a crash is usually related to missing or corrupted files rather than a mod. Try disabling other mods and verifying files.

      Not sure if it's intentional or not, but at the bottom of Progressions.lsx, there's some entries that make changes to the Drow race as well. I didn't notice it the first time I looked it over, but I realized after I was getting a crash to desktop anytime I tried to respec Minthara. I tracked that issue back to progessions.lsx, with your mod being the only one currently changing it. I opened it back up and removed the Drow changes, and boom, no more crashing. So I believe that is most likely the cause of the problem everyone is experiencing here, looks like you accidentally either left the Drow entries in there, or did not mention in the mod description that it also changes them.

      You are correct and in luck. I found and fixed the issue just now :P. Itl take me a few minutes to publish it. In the meantime grab the Compatiblity Framework mod that should fix the crashes on its own. The game has a bug that causes issues with multiple subrace mods, the framework should fix it. 

      Ill have an update soon that also fixes the cantrip selection for origins and hirelings.

      Being dyslexic doesnt help either, i see jumbled lines of GUIDs in my sleep :P

    How does this work when adding to an existing game?

      Level 1 changes ussually dont work for race mods on existing characters. Respeccing should apply chnages for other levels, but i havnt tested it.

      When I tried it, everything new was automatically added to my character. Only thing I didn't get was the first level cantrip choice of course. 

      BTW, I noticed some typos in the Spelllist.lsx that was causing some cantrip choices to not appear for the Asmodeus Tiefling, just a couple of colons that should be semicolons. If you like I can share my edited version with you which fixes that and includes some personal tweaks. I added a better choice of cantrips choices for each subrace, added Thaumaturgy to all 3, and some unique profeciencys to each subrace to fit their lore a little better, such as Arcana for Meph, Athletics for Zariel, and Perception for Asmodeus.
