Latest Update to this pinned comment on version: 1.2.5 Bug fixes for the spell panels. Will be uploading Plus Dyes shortly (please don't be too expectant as it is a previewer right now) and Plus UI - High Res Icons in a standalone page for those that may want to always enforce the best quality icons (the ones that were packed with the game on release and up to patch 4) but it is heavy in size so I'm also leaving the "Lite" version for those that want the middle ground or are low in disk space. The adjust panel needs a lot of love still, I will bring the sliders for hair color (and everything else) out to make it "last details" type of thing without backtracking and without a million popups - it was requested long ago and I'll slowly make it worthwhile. Plus Customizer which allows body swapping (ignoring the limit of bodies) including body styles, tattoes,etc; a wing/back/limbs/to be named slot and examples of how to use the "flair" slot is likely going to be ready soon - depending on my free time.
Open to all suggestion, even fully opinionated ones.
Moved the info dump to the article sections since I think it was obnoxious. Going to start allowing users to post in the bug tracker in my mods (as I remember to enable it) since I have come to realize I have a small audience of people using my mods but you are actually smart people. Most people that have ever reported bugs, 80% have actually read the information available and done proper testing - so thank you all.
really liked this mod. it's almost a must have for character creation, but now soon as im done, i have to delete it :( i hope somebody creates a similar mod to replace this one.
not sure what is going on, it still is breaking my inventory screen even after the update. And by break I mean there is just a black blank screen where my inventory should be and if I try to open containers that I know should have things in them, like the Tut chest, they appear empty.

Patches tend to break things like UI mods, script extender and SE-dependent mods, Unique Tav, gameplay / spells / weapons / classes / added races, (our sanity), complex stuff like that are likely to kick up a stink. Things like dyes, tattoos / makeup replacers, hairs don't typically cause issues.

Thank u! I sincerely hope all goes well for the creator. I will see if I can recover the game we had with a friend with this mod, if not we can always start again. Frankly, I always let the game update itself didn't open it until the mods were ready except for a test game I had, I didn't expect it to affect the rest of the games, that was purely my mistake, from now on I will always stop the updates x'D
Or be like me, update on patch day anyway just to see if things still work, scream at yourself for being a mor-on (yes in Sgt Dornan's voice too), then spend hours trying to figure out how to rollback, only to forget how you did it for the next patch

HAH! That's I learned all I know. Tbh I've spent more time fixing broken s#*! for myself and others than actually playing the game by now, but I also enjoy the troubleshooting / fixing cuz I think I have brain damage or something. It's a kink, I guess, LOL. I just learn so much that it's fun.
USUALLY if you come check the Larian mod support discord channel you'll get a firsthand look at the active housefire we're dealing with and there's typically a list of mods that are broken and status updates pinned... unless it's right now.

Also worth noting if anyone updated their game and DOES roll back via the Steam Depot, I actually have a version of Script Extender for Patch 5 Hotfix 17 (so right before the Patch 6 update) that I can share, or if you have it yourself, just delete the DWrite.dll and replace with the last SE version get back in action.
Feel free to ping me if you need help finding the older version of SE. 99% sure they're on the Github history but I also have the file still—granted taking candy from strangers is risk but for what it's worth, I'm way too stupid to be dangerous, lol. @the.empress - same derpy-ass icon as here

Happy to help! I find one of the more difficult things about getting into modding is getting guides for some of these seemingly simple things, and context (you can comprehend) for how / why things work the way they do, but that context is what helps people get better at self-troubleshooting. I'm still too inept to help with the technically complex crap the much smarter people are busy helping with (coding = witchcraft) but I CAN fill the gap helping contextualize in a more end-user friendly (and hopefully moderately entertaining) manner and structure learning materials that grow with your knowledge as you learn. Cuz I'm also learning.

I was wondering if plus UI was working with improved UI because would have both installed and I would get blank inventory when I would disable plus UI inventory was no longer blank. I enjoy using plus UI. Has issued been fixed with inventory not showing up blank. Thanks for adding extra level of enjoyment to the game. I appreciate all hard work mod community does.
Yes, it does work with Improved UI, however you're having this issue right now because Plus UI does not work with the most recent Patch (6) and its hotfixes so you need to remove. I posted some details on this page so check it out (it's the big long post with pretty pictures and colours).
