Hey, I fought Orin on two different honor mode Durge runs. on the first, my Wizard/ Sorcerer nuked her turn 1 with an upcasted Scorching Ray and she didn't transform back into Orin. Second time around, I only did enough to proc her transform back with a melee hit, but when she came back she had 1 hp and 10 temp hp. Is there a way to fix it, like healing back to full?
Your two mods make Orin such a fun fight when dueling as Durge. One thing I noticed for this mod however: for some reason her Relentless Lunge in Slayer form uses her Charisma modifier instead of Strength for the DC. I've tested it by turning your mod on and off. 18 DC with it on and 21 with it off.
Maybe they changed her form stats since I released this so I'm overwriting this with older stats, leading to this. I'll take a look in recent game files to confirm or infirm this when I get the time

Maybe, there are several ways to do this, maybe adding the transformation spell to her could be enough, I'll try and see if she uses it. But I would also need to make sure she doesn't transform back into slayer if she started combat with it...

Hi Siaell, I'm excited for illithid powers overhaul 2! Just wanted to drop the reminder you mentioned here in case you have some time later. Also, it might be kinda amusing for a harder mode if she is able to turn back into slayer if you dont cc or burst her down quickly enough.
The first time I fought her with this mod, she used both phases, and I'm playing as dark urge. I didn't realize it wasn't supposed to be that way, and then when I redid the fight the next day, the second phase would not activate anymore, for no reason at all.
I learned whether she starts the fight as the slayer or not seems to completely depend on the dialogue options chosen, some will lead to her fighting in her human form, some will lead to Bhaal transforming her into the slayer, so the game already has this as an option apparently. I had no idea that fighting both her forms as durge wasn't meant to happen with this mod.
The thing is, I really enjoyed the 2 phase fight and it was a proper challenge for my relatively overpowered character, it was so fun I decided to redo it, and then it wasn't working. What stumps me is that I didn't change any mods after it initially worked so I have no idea why it isn't working now. I thought it was a load order thing but I can't seem to replicate it anymore. I'll report back if I happen to figure it out though.
What the mod does is make her Slayer form turn into human form when defeated, so her having 2 phases is only possible with the mod and not intended by the game. Actually, when you do that and beat her human form afterwards, the cutscene that plays uses her Slayer form again because you're not supposed to fight both forms in vanilla game.
I don't get from your message what was not working the second time.
Sorry, I should have been more clear. What I mean is that when I repeated the fight after this mod worked properly the first time, the fight would immediately end after defeating her slayer form, instead of her reverting to human form like she's supposed to. I've done the fight many times now and whether she reverts into her human form or not seems to be completey random.
Most of the time, the fight will end right after defeating her in slayer form, like in vanilla. But then on occasion, for no apparent reason at all, she will continue the fight in her human form, as intended by this mod. I just can't find any rhyme or reason as to what actually triggers the second phase of the fight in my game. I hope that all makes sense.
I understand the issue now, maybe it's caused by some file conflict since patch 5, and game picks randomly each time between mine and vanilla one. The issue was nonexistent afaik before patch 5. Are you in Honour Mode?
No in fact I'm still playing on patch 3, I'm waiting until after I finish this playthrough to update my game. I didn't mention that but maybe that could have something to do with it. I'm now realizing this mod wasn't even released until after patch 4.
Also, I'm using this alongside the Deathbringer Assault mod, which works fine as long as orin reverts to her human form, obviously.
Then I don't know what the issue could be, no one mentionned something similar before so it might be related to your game version, or a specific mod conflict you may have, though this should compatible with anything. It's also incorporated in Stronger Bosses and Enemies, do you have it? A duplicate of this mod's functionnality may be at fault, otherwise I have no clue.
Could be the game version, for some reason I thought this mod had been out a lot longer so I hadn't considered it. Won't know until I update the game and get to this part, so that could be a while.
I don't use stronger bosses, and I shouldn't have anything else that touches this fight. However, I did make a custom character.txt file with one entry for Orin to make her stronger, similar to what similar to what stronger bosses does but only for orin. I added it to your mod and repacked it, but of course that was one of the first things I took out, and after testing I concluded that it made no difference. She reverted her human form once while I had the text file active, so it isn't because of that.
It's not that simple. Orin was using a transformation with a weak twist on it. To implement something new on Gortash is whole other story. If you have suggestions, ley them down, maybe I can do something. But be realistic, I can't put things that are not in the game, especially not a whole new boss with custom models, animations etc

I undertand, so I have more realistic suggestions.
I'm thinking of 2-3 modifications to make this fight truly legendary:
- Remove the defective shield system in tactics? - Add Baine disciples, there are currently two consuls and a black gauntlet. I'm thinking two consuls + two black gauntlets and a black fist as captain. It would be logical for Gartosh to have a praetorian guard worthy of the name. - During phase 2, make the Manifestations of Tyranny active, why not with a debuff or control spell (domination, for example).
(Manifestations of Tyranny and Dark Hand spell can be a good skin for Bane)
Some buffs to Gortash would be nice. He has a decent set of mechanics, but he ends up dying rather fast if you do the right thing and focus on him, so you don't get to see most of what he can do. A simple buff to make him more tanky and 1-2 extra adds would make the fight feel better imo.
I agree with Kurmudge, simplest way is to just buff his saving throws and add banites, even with stronger bosses and tactician plus 300%hp, he gets easily killed because he's always proned, dazed etc. Only good thing giving him 300%hp is he got more opportunities to use his skills. Atleast orin with difficulty mods is very hard to CC.
I just fought Lin Ao once, and I found a problem, the Son of Baal form didn't lose much blood and turned back into human form, and even then it was very difficult to finish, it was really an epic battle
This was really fun, and she talks in her self form too, and actually puts up a fight, so much better than vanilla, I enjoyed the fight very much, thank you!
@LelouchLan Well, your mod is running well, my edit is very modest. Plus you could easily have "stolen" this and claimed it your own, yet you were kind enough to ask. Go for it.
Perhaps, but even then, the game's mechanic for transformation is in this order. Plus you get a cutscene with her transforming before the fight, which I can and want nothing to do about. The fight can still be improved by other means like difficulty mods, but I'm afraid the order is definitive.
