About this mod

Because there just weren't enough bag mods, here's another. Maybe you'll like it?

I'm absolutely in love with the level of sorting that Bagsx3 gives me, but towards act 3 I noticed I had around 100 magic weapons I was hoarding storing. Even with a mod to make container windows bigger, organizing it was becoming something of a challenge. Additionally, I had trouble getting a mod that sorted trap kits/lockpicks to work properly (through no fault of the author I might add). Luckily I found LennardF1989's amazing Bags of Sorting tool, which gives you a handy interface to generate custom bags, and even packages it up neatly!

At the end of the day, I made this for myself, I'm not really sure I expect anyone else to get any use out of it. Requests may be considered.

Bags Included:

  • Tool Bag - This has autosort on the tool keyword. This means it picks up lockpicks, trap kits, and one weird hammer... Luckily there aren't tons of the  hammers in the game, so it's not too much of a hassle to just chuck them out every once in a while. Yeah the icon is just a pouch. I never claimed to be an artist!
  • Ranged Weapons (Bow icon)
  • Quarterstaves
  • Daggers
  • Swords
  • Axes
  • Exotic Weapons (Rapier icon)
  • Polearms (Glaive icon)
  • Blunt Weapons (Hammer icon)

To be 100% clear, the Tool Bag is the only one that includes auto sort functionality. The others just use a mashup of vanilla icons to make it easy to see what weapon type is there at a glance. I could certainly have gone more (or less) granular, or organized it differently, this is just what currently works for me. Suggestions are certainly welcome.

This is meant to be more of a companion to Bagsx3, and I would highly recommend using it as well. You can even stuff the weapon bags from this mod into the weapon category bag from that one! Bag-ception!

Installation and Acquisition:
Install as you would a normal mod, with BG3 mod manager. This pak has no requirements or dependencies. It should not conflict with anything.

To get the bags: raid the tutorial chest. If you're in the middle of a run, I highly suggest the Summon Tutorial Chest mod.
