HELLO EVERYONE! After a long time I have decided to leave my other project for next year so I can come back to MG3 modding. The toolkit is kinda weird for me so I'll be sticking to nexus for now. With that being said, I have updated this mod with some textfixes and other bug fixes!
Trying out this mod and I do like it, but wish you were able to use cantrips outside of concentration. Option to not self cast only. By the looks of it you aren't going to update the mod, but it definitely had good potential.
I couldn't find a way of the game checking what cantrip you already have and then giving you the normal version of that cantrip so the concentration requirement is the workaround for that.
Maybe i can do some messing around and see if i can find a work around. I mainly do clothe mods so not sure if i can, but i like this class mod so if theres anything i can help with id be down. I do like concentration thing tho as it provides a balance, since if your concentration breaks you have to reapply it, however would be cool if you were able to break the concentration or option not to self cast to use as a ranged spell. Knowing code i know that aint easy work around. the only other mod i know of that has some sort of element infusion is the magus mod but doesnt use the same "use cantrip" thing.
another cool thing would be if you were able to add an elemental effect when you swing you use the meele attack. Example when using firebolt. Adding flame effect during the auto attack animation. since the infusion is limited to cantrips i think it may be doable.
Dear BB26: Today, I noticed that the subclass in Tet42's Gunslinger mod update bears a striking resemblance to your design for Spellblade. The way the cantrip is used to enhance weapons is also essentially identical. I believe you may need to take a look at whether your design has been plagiarized, as he did not mention you at all in the update.
I mentioned this matter in my communication with BB26. BB26 has a noble character and thinks it's okay, but there is no doubt that everyone should have their own opinion on this matter. What I hope for now is that he can handle his affairs smoothly and make this mod more interesting.
That fact that ALL MODS arent fair fair use/open source is the dumbest s#*! ever.

While i've not come back to start working on the mod, during a little test play it would seem that whatever broke the mod has been fixed by larian. I imagine one of the patch updated removed an asset or something the UI used.
i did manage to get it to work in patch 6 , but it was soo over powered that i had to uninstall. cool class and i wonder what makes it more balanced in tabletop vs bg3.
I am wondering too. Casting acid on my bonded weapon. I get icon to say it active, but it didn't seem to do anything extra. Wondering if I misunderstand mechanic or if mod broken.
Absolutely loved this mod so far! wanted to ask if you either planned or could make an alternative file that has the class scale with CHR instead of INT.
Super excited to do a play through with the new update! I was wondering if you would like help making an Icon for the class? I am pretty good at photo shop and could come up with one and send you the files you need to make it work with Improved UI.
New version of the mod is out! Please play through with at least one character using the class (And or) some feats and give me feeedback on how the class feels.
any plan on making this class synergies with the mods 5e spells/frostbite blade? otherwise starting with a greatsword might be a bit too strong (2d6+str mod + whatever cantrip you infused (1d4+1 up 1d10)
