There is a downside to NOT resting, story lines with the companions don't progress as quickly so you will miss out on some of those interactions if you don't rest often enough. Just an FYI. I do think some things seem silly to be per short or long rest... but hey I'm not a D&D rules lawyer either so whatever makes the game more fun for you!
I'd assume most people who can unpack the game files, go in there, find what they want and change it have probably played the game to the point where they understand how to progress the story. Resting after every skirmish is annoying, forgetting to rest and being pulled into an unforseen combat situation with your best skills on cooldown is even more annoying.
There's a camp events mod that can tell you need to long rest for events to happen. You can keep long rest to a minimum. Helps when you're doing tactician and long rests are 80 supplies.
yea i just started my 7th play through, i don't think i've missed anything, now i'm just playing for the combat. and its a short rest to restore action surge, you only need to long rest when you use both short rest. plus camp event notifications mod is lit. I cant believe i played my first 4 without it.
I love the intent, since the Action Resources and All Skills Reset mods apparently don't do this, but I can't get this to work either. Is there a specific place I should put this mod in my load order?
I do still have Action Resources and All Skills Reset in my mod list since they work for most other consumable battle resources. Should I put this mod above or below those? Or might the problem be something else?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
