It seems to, but as of the moonrise tower battle in my last two playthroughs if I use quickened or a haste potion my game crashes, and I am no longer able to save in the playthrough even by going back to previous saves, like it corrupts the entire campaign history somehow. I don't know what other mod would be affecting just those which seems to trigger this.

It is raised because you aren't restricted to one leveled spell.

It doesn't matter why they raised it.. this mod lowers the cost back down.

My boy, in less than a dozen words you've presented yourself in such a way that it's fair to assume you are a DM's worst nightmare: the "Rules Nazi" (or "Rules Lawyer" for the hyper-PC crowd).  I can already hear it: "Page X in the PH says that I can do this!", "Errata Y changed this behavior, so the DM has to follow the change!!!", "MM doesn't say that creature has that power, so why does this one???"

Author just decided to make a change to fit 5e, like literally dozens of mods do on this site.  And yet, I don't see you attempting to mansplain those.  No one asked why Larian implemented the change.  Either use the mod or don't.

As someone who likes dipping into 5e rules reversions, thank you for this KaiJai.

The one leveled spell thing is bullshit anyway, not even critical role follows it 100%, just let people live. Plenty of people play without it, and mods are for letting people play how they want.
