A guide on how to use Cheat Engine for this mod would be appreciated, especially for those who are used to installing almost all of the mods on this site by simply importing them into the Mod Manager :(
I cheered too soon.. I can't click on the box n.2, if I right click it it says: < <Lua error in the script at line 2:[string "local syntaxcheck,memrec=... ..."]:17: table index is nil > >
unfortunately im not getting the same error your getting so i cant really give you any fixes. i can only suggest to make sure your selecting Baldur's Gate 3 in the Applications tab on Cheat Engine. im still using game version 4.1.1.3622274 so if its a update issue im sorry to say i cant help you. the script thats used was found not too long after the game released. sorry i cant be of more help.
The only differences I found after seeing your video are:
My game version is 4.1.1.3905231 whilst yours is 4.1.1.3622274 My process on CE is "00003C34-Baldur's Gate 3 (3440x 1440) - (DX11) - (6 + 6 WT)" whilst yours is "00007050-bg3_dx11.exe"
How come that we need to use Cheat Engine for this mod? Isn't possible to make it like any other Nexus custom spell mod? Also, you specified on the description "Must use Cheat Engine OR OTHER SIMILAR PROGRAMS TO "LEARN" SPELL". Well, what are these alternatives?
i also have 3 other mods that add the Power Work Kill spells but they are attached to items, if you want to give one of them a try they dont require Cheat Engine. the names of the mods are : Rings of Power Word Kill, Underwear of Power Word Kill and Learnable Spell Scrolls of Power Word Kill (you can use a "Class can Learn Scrolls" mod with my Learnable Spell Scrolls to keep your item slots free ). as far as the other programs ive seen some "Trainers" that allow you to spawn in items but you have to pay for some of them. if you cant find a "can learn scrolls" mod for your class let me know and i can make it for you if needed.
