I cant get this to work...After downloading the script extender and putting pak. in folder, theres a red exclamation point on the mod saying ScriptExtender 1 or higher is needed Anyone know a fix? tThanks.
Love it, ya would be nice it it worked in cutscenes, or the sex mod. But also would love it it went even bigger, any chance of it going up to +100% or +200% size? Would like to make some giantess's : 3
You can receive it many ways, just get it from the tutorial chest like plenty of other mod items. It gives me one every time I load the game if I so much as swap characters and forget to save with a potion already in my inventory. I have like 10 of them at this point.
It also crashes my save to desktop if I remove the mod. This is a spell that just allows you to magnify/shrink your avatar (none of my party members had spell active in save).
So now I have to install a mod I don't use in order to continue my playthrough.
There's something very wrong with the way it's been insinuated into the game code.
It's pretty easy to remove that aspect of the mod. Install Multitool and run it. Drop the pak on Multitool's window to decompress it. Open up Multitool's folder, and go into the UnpackedMods folder. From there, delete the folder "VariableHeight/mods/ScriptExtender". Go back to UnpackedMods folder and drop the VariableHeight folder onto Multitool. This will create a zip file in the multitool folder called VariableHeight.zip that will contain your altered mod. (If you're using BG3MM, just drop the zip file onto the bg3mm window to update or install the mod.)
Ended up having to end my honor run because of issues with this mod. It was changing the size and weight category of characters permanently, which was causing massive gameplay issues. The buffs appear to go away on respec, but uninstalling the mod causes the game to crash immediately. I tried rummaging around in the code to see if I could fix it myself, but most of it is tied up in scripting. I'd suggest using WeightCategory() and ObjectSize() in the future, since they are 'boosts' supported by the base game and do not require scripting.
Hi I understand it does not work in cutscenes, however does it work in dialogues? Mine seems to revert the characters back to their normal heights when I talk to them. Just wondering if this was a bug
I'm not sure if it's the fault of this mod or just attached to it, but whenever I use the size changing, some of my characters revert to their default character creator looks, and won't change back, despite looking correct in the mirror. Has anyone else had this issue?
I've had this same issue. Yes, for some reason casting the spell on a character removes all character creation options and reverts the looks to the base for for the race/subrace, and prevents you from changing back. Removing the spell does not undo the effect.
I have attempted to change this and have it where it does a 5 percent on the reduction. So 5 percent size, 10 percent 15 percet etc. BUT I cant get the titles to show up in game. They seem to be working except for that. Wondering if I could send it to you and you finish it and can post it here as an update? Thanks for the great mod!

I'd be way better if you could just buy one
