I'm a little confused about how the mod works, when my character gets the blindsight buff, any attack he can make against a blind enemy won't gain an advantage (even if my character isn't blind himself), which doesn't fit the description
I wanted to use this to add blindsight to my character but have now just realized that it is not a vanilla mod where you can just throw around blindsight willy nilly but instead it needs to be added through other mods. I cannot find a mod that uses this as a dependency (though I do have that additional fighting styles mod installed and grabbed blind fighting). Is there any way for me to easily add this effect to my character?
You can add it as a passive for a race, class, etc in the respective progression table entry (they go by levels). I recommend going to the mod dev chat in the larian discord for a good beginner tutorial.
Appreciate you making this! I also thought the vanilla blindsight implementation was pretty underwhelming, and this will make it much better in the class I'm working on.
Been piecing together a bloodrager class mod together bit by bit. I'll be trying this out for the draconic bloodline pieces. Was really perplexed by how blindsight was implemented in this game.
