Hello everyone, I sincerely apologize to everyone who's been waiting for some kind of update. I am trying to get an image of what kind of issues have popped up over the last month. I admit I've been struggling to remember to check up on this and Mod.io more frequently because of stress. What I plan and hope to do in the future is check in at least once a week.
And my plan for these new subclasses issues with patch 8 is to start with some testing. I'll post my test configurations and results in here in the comments as I do them. I'm unfortunately not home the next 3 days, so I'll try to pick it up next week.
Thank you for the update Nitram, and thank you for all your hard work; I know it can't be easy. Prior to this update I would jokingly come back to nexus to check up on this mod with a "when will my husband come back from war" attitude haha.

Hey! Love the mod! Out of curiosity, is there any way I can raise the level cap even higher? I know it sounds goofy, but I want to be able to level up to level 30 (through multiclassing)
can anyone help me? started a game with 3 friends, one of them chose dark urge. we decided to add this mod and the 0.75x exp patch mid playthrough. we got everyone to update their levels by sending them to the wardrobes and taking them out. but we cant send the dark urge to the wardrobe. respecing with withers did not work either. there does not seem to be any way to get the 0.75x curve to start working on his dark urge character. we have no other mods installed. yes ive read the faq, none of that worked/applied.
I am currently using the "Whispering Blood" mod (custom class for Durge) which does not have a compatibility patch for level 20. Meaning that upon trying to level up to 13, the screen goes black save for the "Level Up" banner (and if you press esc, you go back, so the game is not crashing or frozen.). That's not a problem though, I'm absolutely ok to multiclass the character.
What I'm wondering is if levelling the modded class to 12 at level 20 overall is the only way to reach max level with it, or if you can somehow multiclass with the black screen (by pressing where the multiclass button would be or sth along those lines).
Waiting for the big powerspike (the max level speels are nuts) is thematic, but gameplay-wise a little disappointing.

Hi, Nitram166! I really enjoyed using this mod in patch 7, but what I've desperately wanted (on console, that is) is a mod that gives you a feat at every level. Is that something you could do for patch 8, on console (after Larian receives and approves the mod)? I'm speaking specifically about "UnlockLevelCurve_Patch_Improvement"
Any ETA. Sorry to be a pain to ask. I am looking to get back into BG3 but this mod is essential for my other mods. I cant use most of my mods cause they require 5E but I also want to run this cause the other class mod I am using "Dread Overlord" goes up to level 20 and needs a mod that bumps the level cap to 20. To be fair, yours is the best on the market by far especially with the improvement add on.
I'm using both this and 5E Spell right now and not having issues. The only thing I can't see to do is make a wizard bladesinger subclass. I haven't tried all of them but the drunken monk, barbarian giant, and several other subclasses seem to show up. Haven't crossed the level 12 threshold yet, so everything could explode on me soon - but I'm dragging my feet in Act 2 hoping this and other things get updated in their due time. (Past level 12 and no apparent issues - when respec'ing Astarion to a Gloomstalker/Assassin I did notice that the new beekeeper ranger isn't showing up as well.)
Hi, is there any news about the patch 8 update? Want to play with friends with the new subclasses but without your mods, i don't want to start a run. What would happen if i play patch 8 with the mods that are currently online here. Are the new subclasses unplayable or what would happen? Ty in advance.
Would it not make much more sense to actually finish the new classes that Larian dropped, which made them vanilla? Without that, the mod is useless to many people who want to actually try the new classes, and the new content. It's also a lie to claim that it supports all vanilla subclasses and the Patch 8 changes. You were online almost a month ago. Could you at least give us literally any information as to how your awesome work is coming along? If you want someone else to just do it, I'll gladly take it. I am just tired of having to wait until the official new subclasses are going to finally be worked on and available. Heck, you could make it so the game doesn't crash once you reach level 12 on the new subclasses, or when you unlock them. That's more than enough, I think. What do you say? I'm begging, mate.
I'm using this through the official mod support in game so I can do a multiplayer game with crossplay. What is the standard xp rate change in this mod? Not entirely sure what it changes tok
Hey love your mod! Just a quick question, I have the 0.5XP Patch installed in my playthrough is it safe to switch to the 0.75XP Patch mid playthrough? Seems like 0.5 is just a little too fast for me :)
You've probably been asked this, but just curious as to when roughly an update to the 5e Spells compat patch will come out? I see that both this mod and that one are individually updated for patch 8

I think, without proof, that this mod activates Tactician Difficulty even when playing on Balanced or Explorer.
I only have these mods active.
- Better Containers- Containers Extended
- Containers Extended Starting Equipment
- Underwear of Rituals
- Unlimited Dyeing
- Unlock Level Curve Level 13-20
- Unlock Level Curve Patch XP x 0,75
- Weightless Consumables
- Weightless Gold
And still the spider matriarch uses tactician mode skills. All enemies are able to crit with the option for them doing it is deactivated and so on.
If this mod is at fault, I'd be happy to get it fixed, if this mod is not at fault, can someone please help me save my multiplayer session? :)
