Please message your random questions, requests and complaints instead of picking a random mod to comment on. Too many unrelated comments across my mods, some barely qualifying as comments. I have many messages and requests, I will try to get to them in due time.
So, I finally decided to add this to the game with TacticanPlus Scaling/Health 300%...I don't know if TP+ added to the bulette...but bloody hell. It was amazing. It was terrifying. It was lethal. I was going to share some pictures, but I feel like it's best if people experience the surprise. When you're playing a Drow and you tell Halsin "The Underdark is my home, I will journey from there"...it adds to the hilarity. Safe to say, this ain't it chief...it's the first time I've ever fled combat.
For some reason this mod doesn't work unless I change difficulty modes. When the bulette first shows up it only has 162 HP on Tactician. I have to switch to a different difficulty (to normal) before the correct number of HP shows up. Otherwise he just ends up being the normal version.
This makes me think of a weakness inherent to a horror game: Suspense does not always translate well into fear when the threat does not have the ability to effectively put you in danger. I somehow got the idea that Larian intended Bulette to be that 'to avoid' type of enemy in BG3, kind of like unkillable enemies in survival horror games.
I ballparked the request since no one makes them specific and I don't even know if I'm gonna do it. It should have north of 800hp, its lowest ability score is 20 but skills remain the same, you'll either just be highly discouraged to fight it or it'll wipe your party out, maybe
Had to run away! Got it half way down the utter b***** but I was running out of party members. An invisible and traumatised Astarion hid while they all died and then went back to Withers. :D
