The Kraken's Mirth is a +2 Rapier designed by request.
The damage die is a 1d10 instead of the usual 1d8 of rapiers.
On the first damaging strike of the weapon in combat, you inflict Vicious Mockery on your target.
Each attack has a small chance of inflicting Hideous Laughter on your target, knocking them prone for one turn.
Each attack also has a very small chance of inflicting a hidden third effect.
The rapier can be bought from Helsik in the Devil's Fee, Arron in the Grove, or Quartermaster Talli at Last Light Inn. It is also available from a chest during the nautiloid tutorial level if you enjoy very early power-ups.
Install the .pak file using BG3 Mod Manager. This version does not require the script extender.
This is only my second mod, and feedback, suggestions, and bug reports are very welcome. I hope you all enjoy it!
