Perfect for my Tavern Brawler Kensei Monk/Thief Rogue/Frenzy Barb/Fighter - D8+9 Dagger, Dagger, Dagger, Dagger, Rage, Frensy Dagger, and then for good measure Action Surge, Dagger Dagger.
This game is VERY silly to try builds I'd never condemn a DM to -- Also bc its extremely niche and Id spend prob about half the campaign being Average at best at fighting lol.
There is a one major difference between 5e version and the one in BG3. In BG3 Haste spell gives you an additional action. In 5e you are given instead a "hasted action" that can only be used to dash, disengage, hide, use an object or to make a single attack. BG3 version is significantly stronger.
On top of that Vax's boots are special because if the haste spell from them fades, Vax doesn't suffer one round of incapacitation, which is another difference.
