Hello again! I installed Unique Tav, and redownloaded your mod, dropped it again into Data folder. I have been playing with your mod for months now, never had any issues. And UT is working, all good. But now your edits don't show up in CC. Any idea what might be causing this?

Nvm, figured it out. Dropped the file in the UT folder, renamed and deleted the default one.

Thank you for this, I was going crazy trying to figure out why they weren't showing up for Tav's CC but were showing up for the other companions! It was because I'm using Unique Tav and the tattoos were in the regular folders, not the UT one!

Such an elegant solution, this is amazing. I was struggling to find tattoo mods I like, and now I don’t need to - you made all vanilla ones look awesome. Thank you so much for your work.

unfortunately you can't mix and match with the tattoos- you can only have one override or the other, unless you want to go into the DDS files and edit from there.

Hi, can you clarify exactly what goes in the data folder and where.

I put this is the data folder but nothing has changed, still same vanilla tattoos.

assuming you are using the Steam version: C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Data

you also need to put the ENTIRE generated folder in, not just the DDS- the folders inside it are basically paths for the game override.

      Hi and Thanks.

I figured the problem. It doesn't like the mod if you insert the "No Chin Tats" folder. You have to insert the "Generated" folder and contents to function (so second folder into the download).

Correct, that is what you need to do anytime you see a mod that has a folder that says generated.

but what if we have other generated mods already?

It depends on what kind of overrides you mean- anything that edits tattoos (aka any file called Skin_Atlas_Head_SHR_Tattoo_A_MSK1.DDS) will be overwritten by this mod- anything else will be fine.
