This mod does not cause the blurry hair issue. To fix it, try turning your in game texture settings to ultra. In the Nvidia control panel, try forcing anisotropic filtering to "x16", Negative LOD Bias to "Allow", and Texture filtering quality to "Quality"(NOT HIGH QUALITY), or whatever equivalent program is used for AMD. If none of that works, try updating your graphics drivers to their newest versions.
This mod also does not cause pixelated beards. for those of you who are experiencing it, I will refer you to these reddit posts, reddit post 1, reddit post 2. Some people may need to turn on TAA.
I do not personally experience grainy textures even with TAA off, so I'm not entirely sure what causes the issue for some people.
Here is a Reshade preset for those who are not the biggest fans of TAA. Anti Blur Reshade Preset
I have all of the things that you've said I need, I even went into the comments and found your textures pack for Companiona - Old Shaders (Textures), but it still won't load in HDR. I can't manage to add a picture, but it pretty much just looks blurry. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Are there other things I need to have downloaded as well?
Also my mod does not cause the blurry beard issue. That is a vanilla game issue. The worst case scenario is that it won't apply in game. It will never cause blurry textures.
If installing the old shaders doesn't fix it for you, make sure to do the nvida control panel stuff listed in the pinned post.
Not sure if your still having the issue, but I found a fix that works for me. Set Negative LOD Bias to "Allow", and Texture filtering quality to "Quality" in the Nvidia control panel also.
In the Nvidia control panel, reset all of the settings for BG3 to default. Also make sure to update your drivers to the newest version.
(Update) Patch 5 broke a bunch of stuff. This mod and many others now require these three mods. "Trips' Old Shader Pack", "Companions - Old Shaders", and "Player and NPC - Old Shaders". Do not let the textures from those mods overwrite any of the textures that you have already installed to your Baldur's Gate 3 folder.
