ah thanks, yea no its the 3 subclasses, after I get it all balanced for the most part and not too overpowered I am doing a 3 sith subclasses based on rage. Maybe one superclass down the line...never really thought about it
it is just a text file , if you something different or want to tweak it is trivially easy - download exporttool for BG3 , you want Lslibtoolsit - go to PAK/LSV Tools and extract the *.pak file into any folder. - look into it and change it any way you want, add skills, change damage calculations, add effects, etc. - got to PAK/LSV tools again and 'Create Package' from your directory. congratulations you now have custom patch you made for your own game - drop the resulting *.pak file into folder for BG3 Mod manager - play and enjoy.
Any chance you'd be willing to help me out with this? I don't have much modding experience and want to create my own force user mod using this as a base (purely for my own satisfaction not to upload on here or anything) I downloaded the software but an confused as to how to use it. I haven't been able to find many useful guides either.
Any sneak peek into when we may see the Sith side of this Mod. The class as a whole is a lot of fun, wish it supported up to level 20, but that was fine I just paired it with 8 levels of monk for the added ki. Regardless. This class was a lot of fun thank you for creating it!
I really like the idea that Guardian is a STR focus. To aide with that, do you think Guardian should gain Heavy armor proficiency? Like in SWTOR? Right now I'm playing a Guardian, but it's hard to justify strength over dex/wis for just the raw AC. It's hard to be tanky when you've got less AC than the sentinel and consular in the group (I'm running 3 custom characters so I can play all Force users with your awesome mod!)
Just a thought. I'd love to be a more traditional tank, but with Jedi Powers and stance. Heavy armor does fit the SWTOR era Jedi Knights, and would help STR builds feel really different, but thematic.
It's not a perfect solution, but I started with two levels of fighter to get the heavy armour proficiency, second wind, and action surge, then put the rest into Jedi Guardian. You miss out on some ki points and level 11/12 Jedi stuff but it still works pretty well. It's somewhat similar to starting as a soldier in Kotor and then taking Guardian as an advanced class.
Think lightsabers should be in tut chest for ppl that want them early and one where u gain them from vendors (cost is like 3000 gold) or like wow death knight class mod, u buy a item to summon a powerful foe or foes to defeat to earn the lightsabers but as they stand now they r op even with difficulty mods, Great mod

Is it possible to add monk based choices in dialogue to class?
