That is one frustration with itemization in baldurs gate 3. Gear that focuses on similar effects is often scattered across the whole game - this is basically an obvious set for example, but you need to go to absurd lengths to assemble it (at which point you have access to a far more powerful non-set effect).
The drunken monk set is the same way. Crazy that you can't really have a decent one assembled until ACT THREE! It's way out of the scope of this mod, but I think someone ought to rearrange non-lore relevant loot like this so that you'll actually come across sets at meaningful times. So much gear in act 3 that's too weak to even consider at that stage, that would be neat and usable in act 1 or 2. Certain gear items are way too powerful too early, etc etc.
I agree, it is very frustrating. And to some extent, I am trying to alleviate that some with these mods. I'm definitely a certifiable "playthrough addict" and it annoys me, that every game I start is more or less the same. It's played the same way, by the same limited characters, and I have to get many hours into the game before actual builds start materialising.
My hope with these mods is, that you can at least start FEELING like the type of character that you want for your playthrough, without necessarily going to the extreme and providing the end level gear that you would ultimately want for the build.
can yu add in the description of all your gear packs links to each other pack? so people will not miss other your work, due how many u do per day.
And ye, it cool that it full set of related to poison items, unfortunatly game have so many poison immunity creatures, barely suits for solo playthrough, but maybe some cool alchemist cosplay radiant + poison cleric druid xD so will have both poison for humanoids, radiats for undead , if someone care what build could suit this poison set
Cool mod. I love playing the poisoner characters but unfortunately as stated, a lot of enemies have poison resistance in BG3. It would be nice to create a weapon or piece of equipment that ignores poison resistance, much like there is a hammer in game that ignores bludgeoning resistance. I think then a build like this would be viable.
Edit to add, never-mind, I see you included the Poisoner's Ring, which takes care of poison resistance. Awesome.
Yea I'm trying to not get caught up TOO much in the specific builds people want to build on top of these mods. For instance for this one, you could be like a dragonborn poison spitter, maybe a poison spraying warlock, maybe a rogue/ranger poison assassin of sorts.
You could take a look in my The Way of The Thief mod, to see if there's some combinatory items that suit you. I also have an Assassin coming up, targeted towards a stealthy rogue/ranger type of build.
All that said, if there are specific in-game items you feel would be a great fit this mod (or any of my mods), feel free to share. I'd definitely take it under consideration :D
The Assassin mod is very likely to contain some of the items found in here. Poison is, in my mind, a natural ingredient in any good assassin setup.
It will be. Like within the next couple of days at the most. I get a little time constrained when weekend arrives, but now that I've got a good rhythm going for this series of mods, they don't take all that long to cook up :D

The mod has been cleared for console release. The approval process is beyond my personal control.
I will not be posting further updates to this series here on Nexus.
