There are now several optional files that are independent pak mods, controlling different aspects of filth accumulation. Invisible textures have also been reinstated under misc category for specific needs, and no longer have to dig through old, unsupported files.
As I've not had the opportunity to thoroughly test how the values feel in-game, I welcome you to report back with issues regarding rate of accumulation. As it's also easy to create different values of accumulation, you may request whatever rate you think would be best.
This has been a long requested option so I hope this will all work as intended. And I also hope you enjoy!
Apologies if this has been asked already. I have a concussion am not feeling well at the moment so please don't mind a duplicate question if it has been asked. Does this mod have the ability to turn off all blood, all the time? I am not going to buy the game if I can't turn it off. Blood isn't to my taste. If the mod does not have that capability, do you know if it's possible for me to create a mod to remove it entirely? If so, do you know where I should start/look? Thank you.
Hello, sorry for the late response but there are some gory scenes that this mod will not remove, that's not the purpose of this mod (although you could definitely create a mod yourself that skips the gory cutscenes or disables blood fully, i'm pretty sure). This mod only hides the blood/bruises/dirt on character's faces/skin so it doesn't look awkward during cutscenes and stuff, haha. Hope that clarified it for ya
Hmm.. strange. I was playing BG3 at patch 6, with like 70 mods, all was good.
Now I started again still at latest version of patch 6 (patch 7 aka "Modding patch" is a crap that breaks a way too much mods than it helps...), with no any mods that are updated after P7, and 'No More Dirt And Blood' totally doesnt working :) Redownloading, reinstall, load order, even Script Extender downgraded to v18 - doesnt matter.
Miscellaneous files do the job = all works good.
*Just saying, if for someone also main file will not work - Miscellaneous files do the job.
Any plans to make a version of this in the ingame mod selection? Every good mod has been ported over except this one =( Game is almost unplayable without this for me, the blood buildup is so ridiculous.
I haven't looked at how all that works (I'm still kind of in shambles with my own mod load order and such), but I'd like to make my mods available there yeah
Thanks for the small tutorial about tweaking the values. Sadly, it looks like values are clamped to 1 so you can't add more max blood.
For some reason the visual blood splatter is very dependent on the outfit you wear. For some it'll look like you literally bathed in a pool of blood. For others it is barely visible. I'm a bit sad about this, wanted more blood for my durge :(.

Again, Great mod.
