Can you make a version that's just the crafting?? I really need a hag potion crafting mod, or some mod that lets me get more of them for the Path of Undeath mod, but all the changes this one makes breaks it.
"My favorite non-companion character in the whole game is Auntie. This mod makes me love her even more! I always felt disappointed that these potions couldn’t be used to sabotage enemies, but this mod solves that problem!! I love you!
I’d like to ask if you could directly list the effects of these potions in their skill description slots while keeping the original description text in place? Since I’m working on a CHT translation for this mod, I was a bit surprised at how simple the text was. Also, would you mind if I uploaded this translation to Nexus so more people could learn about this fantastic mod? (If you consider my suggestion above, I’ll translate it again as needed.)
One more small question: will you be creating any new potions? I’d also like to try making potions related to Auntie, but I don’t know where to start."
Thank you for considering it! Sometimes it’s a bit awkward in battle when I accidentally forget what a potion does.
Actually, I don’t have a clear idea yet, but based on the aunt’s personality, I think she would be skilled at making...
For drinking: enhancement potions with powerful effects but also side effects. For example: a potion with strong healing but causes bleeding, or an elixir for weakened limbs.
For throwing: used to inflict negative status effects on enemies (such as blindness, paralysis, or reduced attack power).
For coating: causing mental vulnerability, containing strong toxins, or inducing a foul odor (which affects the attacks of surrounding allies).
Those are great ideas! Not sure if I can pull them all of, but I'll give it a try. And please take your time :) It'll be a while for me to find some time as well.
Hey! I was using this mod and had a few ideas that I thought sounded pretty good, and I wonder if you'd be interested in them. I figure the worst you can do is say no. :P
The apples that spawn from Barbed Bulrushes and that are in Ethel's baskets as usable ingredients
Something using the cauldron in Ethel's lair in the center of the gallery?
Wearing one of Ethel's masks, having the Paid the Price effect, or having the buff from drinking from the well, has some sort of effect?
Those are great ideas, so I appreciate you sharing them! I think 1 is definitely doable and the easiest, since I already have it set up with the coatings. 2 sounds interesting but I don't have the know-how to do it, and three is a maybe.
That said, though, I'm happy where the mod is at, and I'm taking a bit of a break from modding. I'll keep your suggestions in mind when I get back to this mod :) Thanks again!
Shouldn't be too hard, I think, but I'm iffy about making anything permanent because I'd rather not deal with complaints about being unable to get rid of them.
I really like this concept, any chance of coming up with recipes that we can discover in a book and roleplay a way to reproduce these? Again, great idea, sorry if this adds to a pile.
I would love to do that, but it's sadly beyond my basic modding knowledge :( The most I can do is make them craftable via UmbralJewels's JWL Crafting Framework.
Heart of stone is still only for long rest, not permanent. Though, I can keep drinking from it indefinitely. Could you add an option to make them be consumed like regular potions so I don't feel tempted to give my entire party +2 str, nor have infinite potion weapons to use?

Adding technical descriptions is a great idea! I'll do that when I find the time to update.
As for new potions, no current plans at the moment. What sorts of potion effects did you have in mind?
Thank you for the kind comment. I'm glad you enjoy the mod <3

It's just a silly little thing, but I thought it'd be fun!
