Hopefully quick request: can you add the mainclass Fighter features to the mod? They weren't needed when it was implemented as a Fighter subclass, but now this Wizard subclass is missing Fighter staples like Action Surge and Extra Attack(s). Thanks!
Thanks for the rapid response! Not sure if it's intentional or not, but the Fighting Style at level 1 and Indomitable at level 9 are not implemented (and I suppose the extra Feat at level 6). The Champion's extra Fighting Style at 10 works fine. No big deal if they're not added; just trying to submit reliable bug reports. :)
No problem, none of them including action surge/extra attacks are supposed to be in there though, it was just the subclasses that were requested for the mod. I just added the previous stuff in since I had a bit of time.
Great Mod to combine Wizard and Fighter! Unfortunately, unless I am doing something wrong, I do not get an extra attack at level 5 as would normally occur if you were only a Fighter. Am I doing something wrong? This is an awesome way to combine two of my favorite classes together, but absolutely need the extra attack at level 5! Also I don't think I have Action Surge either! Real Bummer because this is an excellent mod! I am using Abjuration wizard subclass. This is the correct subclass to get both Fighter and Wizard combined correct? Thanks for doing all of these combination mods. I am using most of the ones you have created on my third playthrough of the game and I am having a blast with them!!!
This mod does not combine the Base Classes, just the subclasses.
Not sure, but I think the game technically still recognizes you as a Wizard since this is bundled under Abjuration. The mod only grants the subclass abilities, not the base class skills. I think that is why we do not have Action Surge or 5th Level Extra Attack (those are both base Fighter progression abilities).
OPTIONS: 1) You may be able to use the Misc. File to put the combination under the Fighter subclass of Battlemaster. That way your base class would be Fighter, however, I think we would then be missing the Arcane Recovery from Base Wizard (plus since the game no longer recognizes us as a Wizard what shostakovitch100 stated below about Arcane Ward from Abjuration trigger off of Wizard levels would not work again).
2) You could use another of Indecisions mods called "Fighter Full Caster and Subclasses Combined" mod. That makes Battlemaster (plus Champion and Eldritch) a full progression Wizard. Still lose Arcane Recovery, as you are not a Base Wizard, and you don't have any of the Wizard SubClass abilities, but you do progress spell slots/spells known like a Wizard. (I haven't taken this mod to level 5 yet, but since you are a Base Fighter I think you would get your extra attack)

My suggestion would be to get the Arcane Knight class mod https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/2776, it combines eldritch knight with wizard. Just run wizard subclasses combined as well and you would get everything. Also use the feats subclasses mod to get the rest of the fighter subclasses traits.
Hi, did what you said, dropped it into mod manager and all, exported it to game etc.. None of the other subclass features (for wizards, haven't checked level 3 yet for fighters) at level 2?
Could you reverse it (combine fighter & wizard subclasses under a Wizard subclass)? That way, Arcane Ward will work correctly (it's coded to work only with wizard levels).
