Hello, downloaded mod with mod manager (vortex), installed with vortex. Not sure how it should work, but level 1 requirement is 300exp, level 2 requirement 600exp. In other words did not changed, tested maybe enemies gives you half exp, but imps in nautiloid gives you 10exp, i think same as in vanilla.
Playing in honour mode, using some other mods: Mod fixer, Tactician plus scalling, Tactician plus health boost 150 precent Achievement enabler, Long rest cost tweaks (200 camp supplies), Native mod loader, Better containers (5x5) Enemies enchanced, Tactiacian plus spell balance Half XP.
Dont wanna start playthrough without EXP reduce. Can someone explain how to make sure this mod does what it should?
Hey. Just letting you know that I've been using this mod for the longest time and it still works. I'm not sure how vortex works but I can tell you the installation instructions explain that you should copy over the mod in a specific spot of your client.
What does the level progression look like with this mod? I like to explore every nook and cranny of the game, but I'd still like to reach level 12 at the end.
I found that the mod stops working correctly after reaching level 5 - to get level 6+ you need more experience than the game can give in theory. I manually rewrote the requirements in the .txt files so that they were exactly twice as high.
nerf XP by half means you will have 8-9 lvl instead of 12. it doesn't change much. The completely broken mechanics making a warrior-barbarian-paladin makes an infinite number of hits starting from level 5 will not be fix
You are right @Trokopataka. Half XP is only a small step to make the game more challenging. Thats why i use in my runs a lot of other house rules. Maybe take a look: Ideas for a God Challenge
I might try this later. Running tactician rn, but I'm not sure if it's the kind of difficulty I want - balanced with half xp might be closer to what I'd like. Don't really like how AC is much less useful in tactician, but after you get some familiarity with mechanics it's way too easy to blast through some stuff.
I definetly agree the game is too easy and you get too much exp by completing all areas of the maps, but I don't know if exp by half would be a solution or just simply nerfing it a bit. I personally think exp in half would have too much of an impact in my game

For me half XP is fine - along with other self made restrictions. :o)
