Hello! I love this mod! Would it be possible to change the name of this subclass in the game to Way of the Wuxia? I play with another Way of the Kensei mod and I think it would be cool to differentiate them and consider this one as a Kensei variant. Thanks for the mod!
By Laserllama's ruling, it only requires the weapon to not have the heavy or special properties, so any two handed weapon without those properties should be fine. Such as the finesse glaive "Dancing Breeze" found in the weapon's shop in Rivington, which imo is a weapon very befitting of a monk who specializes in weapons/
damn as i like idea of kensei its behind tavern monk. shame ;/ its better to take battle master warrior in that case. kensei need more buff to keep up. but still like idea
Please either DONT change the pak file name when updating, or please note when you do. When the pak file name changes it does not overwrite the older version and the mod updates will not take. Thank you.
I changed the mod folder name because I was getting complaints about compatibility with the other Kensei on nexus. I don't know how vortex handles this games mod files as I use and recommend BG3MM
Thank you for the reply. I was speaking of the pak file name.I use BG3MM, and simply copy updates into the mod folder. If the file name is consistent, this overwrites the older mod and everything is cheeky. If the pak file name has changed, but the uuid is the same, then the new version will be seen as a duplicate and not loaded into BG3MM. But unless the check is run for duplicate files, you'd never know.
When I update mods I just dump the new files in the mods folder. And I update in batches with several mods. So it may be easy at times to miss that a particular file doesn't get overwritten.
In this case, I ended up with two distinct pak files in the mod folder that had identical uuids. When using BG3MM, it will only see one of those files. Usually the one that has been used previously. Thus the newer file won't take effect at best, or at worst can cause CTDs or modsettings resets.
I had a similar issue with an armor mod that someone made, different names, armor concepts and everything. But they copied another mod as a foundation, and didn't change the uuid for the mod itself. So only one of the armor mods was actually visible to BG3MM.
