Reworked mod structure, standalone and SE now share the same version and have to be updated for each game patch to prevent mismatch errors. Added a universal SE version that supports any game patch but does NOT support the MP patch. This version should also work better with vortex.
I can't get this to work in single player. I tried the steps to "start a new game, set party size," but I never got a "set party size" popup. How do I get this to work?
for me it works on one save file the one i dont need it to work on and not on the new one i created i made the old one when i first got the game no mods no anything and the new one with the mod alredy installed could that be the problem?
Hi, can anybody help me figure out where I install the standalone version to if I'm on the steam deck? I put it in the Mods folder with the rest of my manually installed mods, and that didn't seem to work. Nevermind, I'm so silly. To find it: go to your steam library, right click baldurs gate, manage, browse local files.
For anyone having issues with not being able to get past 5 players in your group. Just invite your friends through the group code that you can generate when you create the game. By doing this we were able to have 7 players in our game with no issues.
Hello, my wife and I are using the Party Limit Begone SE v2.1 and the Multiplayer Patch to try and get it so we can both have a few party members each but it doesn't seem to be working correctly, it does allow 8 players but it still doesn't let us have a larger party of 4, we tried dismissing one of them and asking them both to follow but it still caps at 4. Can someone please help, Ideally my wife and I both want a few party members each, or have I made a mistake and this is not possible?
Did the host of the game patch his game, look up a video on youtube to how you do this mod. When you create your game there should be the option to have 8 players when you make your character.
Can someone explain what it meant "Delete the patched exe file and restore your backup" when uninstalling the standalone version? I didn't see any exe file in data folder
Hi, I originally came here to mention the potential bug of characters turning invisible in the Underdark, but seeing as that has already been mentioned, I'll skip that. It might not be this mod that is causing the issue, but once you take the boat over to face the Elder Brain, I had two companions that would stop moving randomly. I had to switch over to them to move them manually during the confrontation with the Elder Brain and the Upper City fights. It was Jaheira and someone else. Shadowheart, I think? (Note: I had a full party including Minsc, Minthara, Halsin, and Jaheira with me)

I've tried dismissing the whole party prior to the scene.
