Hey Lordcobra12 :) Don't want to be a bother, don't know if you will update this mod again, but if you do can you pls remove the hair strand that comes out of the chin? It's distracting and that was the only reason i did not use this hairstyle. You have an example in a photo on page 2 comments :) It comes with the original hairstyle as well. If ever you have the time and energy it is appreciated if not don't worry thank you anyways. Best regards :)
Is anyone having this mod cause all mods to be deactivated in bg3mm? It may have something to do with the fact that I was using the regular Bardic Braid prior. If I remove the original Bardic Braid and put the Remake in, there's some conflict. I've tested all my other mods, they work perfectly fine as long as Bardic Braid Remake isn't in the order. Anyone have any solutions to make the remake version work? For reference, I'm not trying to use the original and the remake.
If it's the only mod causing the issue then it likely /does/ have to do with the mod (or at least that it doesn't play nicely with another mod). I don't know what the problem could possibly be though considering the original works just fine. Doing some testing with only the remake and what I have in my overrides of bg3mm and it still deactivates itself. https://imgur.com/a/ax5zxnE is a screenshot of my overrides (mostly just UI stuff).
@vodoriga if you read this, it'd be cool if you'd post if you share any of these overrides. I'd love to fix this as I always wanted a less weighty version
I'm also having this issue. The old Bardic Braid works perfectly fine, but the moment I try using the Remake, my entire modsettings.lsx gets reset to empty upon starting the game... which I'm told happens when there is some sort of incompatibility issue either with the game/patch itself, or possibly another mod.

Okay, I looked through your list (since I also have the same problem) and the Overrides we have in common are;
EDIT: So, I tested disable all those mods... and I still end up with an empty modsettings.lsx upon starting the game... So I honestly don't have a clue to what's causing it. :c
This is so so so disappointing because I wasn't the biggest fan of how big it looked on vemp's heads in particular... :( thanks for your testing! i'll wait till there's an update and try again then
I have this problem. If I only put the evil optional file of this remake, it works fine. But the standard file systematically disable my mods. It's okay for me because I only want the evil version of the hairstyle.
Interesting! What's different about the evil version? The single photo with the evil braid caption doesnt tell me anything. I'd thought about trying it one time but have kinda given up..
What did you use to edit the models? My Blender 3.6 with the BG3/DOS2 Collada Exporter plugin crashes when I try to import models. I want to change up the highlights on this hairstyle a bit.
hiya, someone requested me if I could make a compatibility patch for this mod so it can be used on satyr - so coming her to ask permissions - I'd understand if it's a no though! or if you'd want to host compatibility on your own side, if preferred
ty! in that case, would you mind implementing it into your mod directly? it wouldnt affect the mod in any way if people dont have the satyr mod installed I can send you the necessary code you'd just have to add to the CharacterVisuals file ^^
Is the Legacy the one where the bangs are closer to the face? Because I thought it was the Main one, but when I download and use the Main file, the bangs are too spread out from my character's face (which is on the smaller side), and I personally like how it looks on the original Bardic Inspiration more, it falls more naturally in that one, and I like the Bardic Braid a lot, but the side part just looks like it's too stiff and unnatural. First photo is how the bangs on Bardic Braid on my character and the second is how the bangs look on Bardic Inspiration
Legacy version has the proportion of the original mod, main is made mostly for tight faces like the ones on VEMP's mod. Legacy is made for wider faces.
Released! Hope you liked it! 10 days worth of work and some new coding improvements! Now you have the 3 lenghts in just a single file instead of being locked with only one!.
Also the weight issue is solved and physics are improved.
I can assure you that it doesn't i have side by side comparison on how it used to look, and how it looks now, do you have a discord? so i can show you both screenshots
I mean I only see one request and to me it fit perfectly fine it just didn't fit like vanilla bardic hairstyle which I loved but if I'm minority on that
For me the original shape covered face more which I found very pretty and it was very overshadowing to me that was very appealing
Actually it was a bit of a miracle timing, I randomly was looking at my mods and saw this one and wondered what the status was on it as it was my favorite hair to use so decided to check and saw it was at 0 files and I looked into the archive and then saw your comment about christmas release so I put on tracking and then literally half a minute later I got notification new file xD
Sure, my commissions are open and It's the best time since I have all the source files for this mod. You can check my ko-fi for prices or send me a pm here on nexus.
Hola hola!
Hiya! Absolutely obsessed with this mod. Question - would you ever consider making a tighter version for smaller heads? On the default heads it looks great but I've noticed while using Vemperen's Other Heads mod it does look a bit heavy, particularly in the area around the bangs.

That's it.

that's how it looks nowGuess I could try and release a variant that has the more faithful OG proportions.

Honestly I'm a bit surprised by how fast you noticed the update, I'm very glad you liked my work : )
Thank you for making original size version also
¡Espero que estés bien en el cole!

I'm unsure if it's just my game or not!
Mmmm.... Weird.
Don't worry tho. I'm working on a remake to include all versions. Will have it by christmas, just spread the word : )
Remake released!
