when i arrange things on the hotbar, i'd like them to stay there, thank you very much. i know the custom tab is there, but i do like the little slidey red bars in the general tab a lot more, so here we are!
currently works with:
wildshape
wild magic polymorph*
[ACT 2 SPOILERS] the dark urge's slayer form
*tried my best to playtest this in particular (read: spamming spells at camp) but i got literally every other wild magic surge except the polymorph ones so. theoretically it should work. let me know if it doesn't lol
installation/uninstallation: install via BG3MM like any other pak/zip mod. it should be able to be added or removed from your game at any time without causing any issue.
notes & compatibility: compatible with mods that affect the actual UI of the game, e.g. better hotbar 2 or immersive UI.
may be incompatible with loose mods that overwrite Status_POLYMORPHED.txt and Rulebook.lsx, or mods that directly affect the slayer or wildshape forms. happy to dig around and figure out some kind of compatibility patch with other mods or provide the code (it's pretty much two lines that i changed) if the relevant mod authors are happy to!
adds a new ruleset for the slayer form, and overwrites the default ruleset used by wildshape & polymorphed forms. the default ruleset seems to be also used for some npc skills such as [ACT 3 SPOILERS] the house of grief which i haven't played through in this run yet so i can't say for certain how that works out.
