    I am currently testing a version that does the same for 5e Spells. Afterwards I will likely do one for 2e Pathfinder Spells.

    True Strike is debuffing my party as well when used on enemy. Intended?

      This seems to be the case with every spell that this mod touches. Shield of Faith for an example also targets both allies and enemies.

Hey, I am trying to run your mod with a mod that removes the VFX and SFX from buffs (https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/1033?tab=files) because otherwise, my characters quickly look like christmas trees. And while that fits the season, I like seeing my characters beneath all the different effects and some of the looping noises these buffs make also quickly become.. old.

    Unfortunately, that seems to be not compatible - I can only either have persistent buffs, or ones without SFX/VFX, depending on load order.

    Is there any chance you could provide a version that removes VFX and SFX from the buffs you made persistent? That would be my dream mod.
    I tried to merge your mod with the mentioned one, but unfortunately multitool is.. finicky on linux and crashes when trying to extract yours.

    If you aren't willing to make such a version, would you be willing to provide the unpacked files for me to give it a shot?

    Hey there! Thanks so much for making this mod - it's been hugely helpful. I was wondering, is there a way to cancel the persistent buffs? I read through your mod write up and the comments, and I'm having an issue with Spirit Guardians pushing NPCs around and causing some minor issues with reaching them, unless I've clicked directly on them to speak with them. If I missed the information somewhere, my apologies. Just don't want to uninstall/reinstall the mod if I don't have to .

    Hello, first of all : thanks you, a lot =) because your mod is actualy the one mod i want/need.

    And yes i would "need it", and i would have some request for some buffs (if you please) because : 

    I play the game since 250Hours + (the same campaign, the same character)

    And my way to play is to make a full run in solo tactician WITHOUT any rest.
    I have actualy managed to "bypass" the forced long rest from act 1 to act 2 (if you don't have rest once, the game force you to long rest, when
    going to act 2, to unlock the quest to win boost from parasite specimen).

    So i can't even use parasite specimens (I don't care want make a solo no rest run).

    However, in counter part, i have managed to cumulate all of my bless/buff/bonus and else (which is exactly what i wanted for this challenge).

    Now, i have finished act 2 since 4 days, and i'm stuck, and looking for a solution everywhere (and thanks you once again : you made this mod =),
    cause my main problem is : 

    At the intro of act 3, there is no "glitch", no "exploit", no "bug" to "bypass" the forced long rest. And the simple reason is : 
    there is an event in the night, when you wake up and have to absolutely go inside the astral portal to continue the game.

    So i decided to use anything i could find (BG3.ct, teleport mods, resting mods, anything to create a glitch) and nothin worked to just continue the game "without" long rest.

    So if i realy have to do that long rest to continue the game (unless one modder can create a "long rest" without any good/bad consequences, 
    just to launch quest or forced event like this astral portal). 

    My only solution is your mod =) to at least continue to play the challenge i wanted to play.

    Now i have explained all, if you have time, and desire to give me an hand, i would realy, realy, realy appreciate it.

    So i can give you my save if you want of course, or i'll just quote the bless i'm missing with your mod (like this, if you want add them, i could continue
    to play the game and rock them all !)

    So right now i have 19 buff/bless (i'll mark "Good" for the ones that are keeping after long rest with your mod) :


    - Bliss Spore (From Spaw's, the Myconid Sovereign) <-- I would need this (missing from mod)

    - Heart of stone (It was a "unique" potion from Auntie Ethel) <-- I would need this (missing from mod)

    - Broken Promises (It was a "unique" potion from Auntie Ethel) <-- I would need this (missing from mod)

    - Dark Lady's Awareness / Erudition / Grace (From Dark Lady's statues, + 5 Cha/Wis/Int) <-- I would need this (missing from mod)


    - Shielded (Shielded from the Voice of Absolute). <-- I would "like" this (just for the background story =). (missing from mod)

    - Blessing of Selune <-- I would "like" this (just for the background story =). (missing from mod=)


    - Detect Thought (From pot or scroll so it should be good)
    - Recast Speak with the dead (This one can be recasted so it's good)

    - Speak with animals (Good)
    - Refreshed (Good)
    - Loviatar's Love (Good)
    - Aid (Good)
    - Silvanus Blessing (Good)
    - Morninglord's Radiance (Good)
    - Bless (Good)
    - Githzerai Mind Barrier (Good)

      I'm willing to take a look and see if I can add these for you. At the moment, I'm trying to finish my first playthrough, but good news, my current save is right before I go face the end of the game! All side quests done, just have to actually beat it, which I'm planning to do today. Once that's done, I'll see if I can find where the buffs you have requested at located and add them. I'm not certain that Shielded can be safely added, but we can try it assuming I can find it to modify it.

    nice mod, thanks. does the "Spirit Guardians" need keep concentration?
    I can't seem to cancel it and will cause neutral characters to feel threatened and move their position.
    I think it's actually an attack spell.

      I have considered doing so and will look into it soon. Want to finish my first playthrough of the game though. I've had it since release and still haven't finished it. I'm well into Act 3, so shouldn't be too long.

      Went ahead and did it. It is the new optional file, load it below (after) the main file. It will change all target buffs to AOE Shouts.

      i have another request, can you make Shillelagh until long rest instead of permanent?
      because weapon with this buff cant be send to camp, transfer to another inventory even cant put it into bag inside inventory, also cant be dropped either.

      It's me again with another request.
      I noticed that using persistent spell + persistent spell aoe mod made enlarge spell only affect the caster and can't be cast to another party member.
      Maybe there's another spell that also affected like this I haven't check them all, but it could be great if you fix it.

      I have other spell mods but I put persistent spell + aoe mod load order below all the spell mods I'm using.

    I keep procratinating resting because it takes forever to re-buff everyone! No more! No more fatigued and battered companions.

    how does this effects certain gear items that require concentration to have to the effect active like the ring that gives you psychic damage if you're concentrating on a spell ?

      You are not concentrating so the effect does not activate. That said, this only affects the listed buffs, you can still activate such effects via offensive spells and debuffs.
