Update 10/22/24: Now that I've had a chance to take a look at what broke with patch 7, I've updated this mod for those that would like to continue on this version for whatever reason. However, I strongly recommend the mod linked above.

This mod adds a ring to the tutorial chest that will allow you to summon a kobold companion to act as your familiar. This kobold will persist through long rests, and be respawnable in the event of their untimely demise. They will be level 1, have 3 HP, and behave like a familiar.

instructions:
- Install the mod using BG3 Mod Manager or by by putting the .pak file in your Mods folder.
- Get the ring from the tutorial chest, either at the start of the game or with the Tutorial Chest Summoning mod.
- Cast "Summon Kobold"
- ???
- Profit!
