Hey so I found this class really fun and once i was done w my modded play through i went and deactivated all my mods but the Ambusher class still shows up even though I've switched it to unactive mod list, deleted it, and even permanently deleted it. But it still is in my game. Is this a bug or something wrong on my end?
Hey so this class causes a ctd when trying to level up pass level 12 with unlock level curve enabled any chance, I may be doing something wrong or is this not compatible with unlock level curve?
I really like this MOD and I am trying to translate it. However, I discovered some issues during translation and testing: 1. Cull The Week: Debilitator, this skill cannot find an effective condition. 2. Improved Traps, there is a description of this skill in the skill text, but it is not present in the game. Then, I really like the skill mechanism you designed: Delightful Debitation, which makes battles very interesting. 3. Delightful Debitation is a skill that can only be triggered with weapons. However, in weapon triggering, poisoning and bleeding are slightly better, while melee weapons can cause almost no combustion, which can make the battle go through a hollow round. And the damage of 2-16 is a bit too weak for a level 11 skill. 4. Sudden Striker has no characteristics and is too weak. I have some suggestions that I hope you can adopt: As an ambush, patient observation and observation of the situation are the most important, and the skill of Delightful Debitation reflects this well. So triggering Delightful Debitation multiple times in combat becomes the key to the ambush profession: 1. Can we change the trigger mechanism to launch an attack on enemies in the Delightful Debitation flag state to trigger it, 2. Due to the lack of damage enhancement techniques similar to rogue raids, can the level obtained by skills such as Delightful Debitation be lowered by adjusting the level obtained by profession characteristics. 3. I think we can merge Sudden Striker with Debilitator. 4. The ambusher focuses on ambushing the enemy (causing a negative state to the enemy) and has various advantages in confronting the ambushed enemy. For example, it can cause more damage to enemies marked with Delightful Debitation and more attacks on enemies marked with Delightful Debitation. Each round, the target of the attack needs to be changed according to the different situations (searching for the weak through Delightful Debitation). Dealing additional attacks and damage to specific enemies under certain conditions, I think it can be the core of this profession, which is very unique and fun. For example: Ambusher, 1st level earns Dream Ambusher, 3rd level earns Delightful Debitation, 5th level earns While They're Down And More Like. This can ensure that the profession is strategic, fun, and RP oriented, while also not reducing its intensity. The translation software I used was translated, I hope you can understand. Thank you again for providing such a great idea as Delightful Debitation.
Thanks a ton for this detailed comment! I've been super busy and haven't been able to get around to working through these issues, but I will as soon as I can, and I'll respond to you here so you can get the notification.
Running just this mod (along with ImprovedUI [and Assets] and ModFixer) I cannot get the traps to cause damage or trigger at level 2. I have tried multiple scenarios. I tested on the two Absolute-fanatics right outside the grove mourning the Dwarf. I have tried casting on them and get no trigger. I have had the enemies run through it (concussive trap) after the turn I casted and still no trigger. I have pushed/gusted enemies into the trap and gotten no trigger.
I thought it was a mod compatibility issue, but I stripped everything back (as previously mentioned) and cannot get any damage/effects to generate. I did use the Level11Now mod and believe I was able to generate fire damage on the first set of imps, but honestly I am unsure it actually worked. I don't know if it is a level two issue, or something with the mod is still being worked on.
This is right up my alley and I look forward to an update in some form.
Edit: Your description says it is an Intelligence caster, but Dexterity is starred in character creation too. I am also confused which is the correct route.
Thanks for letting me know! I'll look into this and get a fix up as soon as possible.
As far as the Dex vs intelligence issue, they are both starred because, like a ranger, both Dex and their spellcasting ability are important. The spellcasting ability is used for trap rolls, and while you could go Dex or Str, the "sneaky" playstyle with bows or daggers would benefit the class more.
I'll get a fix in for that asap. Progress on this mod is likely to be somewhat slow, as I work on this as a hobby in between commissions, and I've been swamped with commissions lately. Thanks for reporting it!
Oh, sorry about that! Must've missed a detail with a copy paste. The sudden striker features are already present in the game, do you can find a description of them on the wiki, but I'll add those descriptions in a bit.

Can you clarify Dread Ambusher from the Sudden Striker subclass? It has the same description as Advantage of Surprise from the base class.
Thanks!
Thats pretty neat. Dungeons and Dragons should implement something like that for the rogue as a subclass. Sounds perfect.
