Sorry im on an indefinite hiatus from the game atm.
But with recent news about patch 8, new subclasses and larian permanently sending the game off, i may come back to the game again once its released, then update this mod one last time. Hopefully on the final version of the game.
Really appreciate all the bug reports and suggestions (and compliments :p) all this time. Thank you :)
Just a question, if anyone may be able to answer it... It's a small issue, but frustrating. I've noticed that Requiescat and Confiteor cannot be added to the hot bars before using Lacerate and after used, they are removed from the hotbar entirely, forcing me to go into my spellbook every single time I use Lacerate.
Is this intended? If not, is there a fix for it?
Nevermind... I'm an idiot and didn't read the entire Better Hotbars mod description, so I didn't have the recast bar visible.
Yes it works, there is nothing about this mod that would need updating, in fact every mod that has added items in this way, even the ones released when the game first launched and were never updated work for me. These types of mods tend not to change game files in a way or do anything crazy that would break them when the game is updated.
There are obviously exceptions to this but I see this question on like every mod that adds items like this and I'm not sure why. People even ask this question after something super small like a hotfix or something smh
Thanks for confirming. I was more asking out of extra caution, since I'm not familiar with modding and have seen other mods that add gear reported to break with Patch 7, though those were generally older than this (August/September 2023).
Is it possible to have you make the Holy Avenger for Paladins from the 5e PHB as a Longsword. Everyone keeps making these mods but no one has made the actual direct sword. Holy Avenger 5e
I did have two questions: 1. When examining the weapon (tooltip) and the ability Requiescat the tooltip states the condition still states holy fire instead of Holy Flame. Is this correct and if not could you fix that? 2. Also, When playing with the mod the extra bludgeoning damage doesnt trigger when attacking with advantage. Is this correct and if not could you fix that?
Made a fix to the 2nd point. After update please hit a non immune character with the sword to refresh it. this first hit will not proc strike hard but after it all passives should work as expected forever. For the first point im not seeing the issue in my game. Are you sure you have the optional file in your load order?
Yeah the optional file order is correct and all the other changes seem to be registering like the additional damage on undead and fiend. Strange why the weapon description says holy fire when I look at the condition Requiescat applies to enemies on a successful hit.

Btw, I like the concept of this mod because bg3 doesn't have any legendary longsword.
its named MOD_Sword_Clemency if that helps.

Thank you for your mod anyways!
Your mod is anyways in my modlist so I get kinda notified as soon as you updated it.
