Unfortunately I haven't been back to BG3 yet since not long after making this. It should still work unless they've completely changed how items and chests work but I can't help with adding it to their native mod system unfortunately.
just for those uninitiated, by tutorial chest, do you mean the traveller chest in your camp? edit: nvm, im an idiot, did not check the requirements *facepalm*
Maybe I'm incorrect, but I thought the game was hard coded to NOT be able to make more than 2 adamantine items. I used an editor to add several more pieces or mithril ore, and you can't create more than 2 objects max.
The game is not hardcoded to only create 2 items. Initially, there is a bug where every time you create an item, the game created another forge that overlap the previous one. As you can imagine, this would make the forge bug out. But Larian fixed that issue already. You should be good to keep using the forge as long as you have materials.
It looks like this only adds to the tutorial chest. The one you refer to also adds it to the merchants. So it could be more balanced, if you purchase the Mithril. But it will also add more clutter to the merchants as well.

The mod works those, so its not the mods fault. Just wanted to clarify that in a edit.

What is the difference between your mod and F version of More Mithral Ore?
(and mostly because I couldn't find that mod when I searched because I've been spelling it mithril, not mithral lol)
