I'm using the wizard updo mod and I just downloaded the file for this that *didn't* include the hair replacer, it seems to work fine for me. did you download that version?
Hi! I'm sorta new to modding BG3, and I've been trying to do this one. I transferred the files over to the Data of my game, but I nothing happened to Gale in my game. Am I doing something wrong?
Maybe you had the same issue as me -- I found I couldn't leave it in the 'softer gale' folder that it came with. I had to move the actual folder inside that that's titled 'generated' to the data folder. Once I did that, it worked for me.
Thank you for cleaning up Gale's face. He strikes me as someone who takes good care of himself, and such powerful mages are definitely capable of reducing their age. It's ambiguous as to what his real age is (there's no certain data), but overall, he looks much more in character now.
I don't think people hate them, more that having an option for an alternative is nice. I love older/blemished features on characters, but I also love being able to see them if they were younger or less worn down. More variety is always better than less, especially in roleplaying games :)
why do people like/dislike anything? Its a matter of preference regarding a totally optional mod for a mostly single-player game, nothing to get worked up over.
so true. people that want the characters to look "younger" or more conventionally attractive are the weakest link. you guys don't deserve the game or the characters. god bless
hi! as the previous commenter mentioned, Gale does have a cutscene where he talks with a copy. I can confirm this mod only makes modification to textures, so what you described couldn't be caused by my mod unfortunately :( if you still have the issue, I recommend checking your other mods!
my Gale didn't talk to a copy of himself, there is just Gale and another Gale standing behind him. i uninstalled the mod (just deleted it from the generated folder) but the galeception is still there so....
at least the other gale is chill and doesn't eat my artifacts so that's cool
