      Any confirmation that this works? I understand they can’t just upload it themself because of Nexus rules but I’m always a bit suspicious of this sort of thing

      Okay, so after doing some testing I can confirm this version mostly works on Patch 8. The only issues I found were:

      1. Percy is invisible again. He still functions as intended, but you can't see his character model.
      2. Curse of the Clown does not work. Despite what the wild magic surge notification says, no actual curse is placed on Tav/Durge, and no clown makeup is visible on their face.
      3. Curse of the Vampire does not work. Just like Curse of the Clown, no curse is placed on Tav/Durge.

      Everything else appears to work just fine.

      does the load order matter? i'm on patch 8 too and i don't know if this mod is working or does it need another to trigger the new surge effects?

      I have this mod somewhat near the top of my load order (placed after framework mods, new spell mods, but before any new class mods). No other mods are required to trigger the new surges, however I would recommend downloading this:

      The mod linked changes how Tides of Chaos works, so your chances of getting a wild magic surge is more likely to happen.

    I don't want to post an official "fix" of this mod because of the permissions, but since it seems to be abandoned I made some changes using the posts below and also made some fixes of my own.
    Like others have said, unpack the mod and repack it with these changes if you want to use them. Here are the changes in a text file. You'll have to copy and paste the text there into the three files it specifies.
    If the mod author re-appears and approves it, I can upload these as a fix or they can use them and upload them on their own, whatever works!

    Edit:
    Forgot to mention, the localization file needs to be converted. After you edit your "WildMagicD100.xml" file, use the export tool to write it to the .loca file. You should see both in WildMagicD100\Localization\English.
    CHANGES MADE

    • Percy is now visible.
    • Fixed the mod breaking with Patch 7.
      Removed Modfixer Force Recompile .txt.
    • Enlarge Self / Reduce Self casts in an area now.
      Removed SELF parameter, @JustKyrios' fix
    • Mass Friends no longer affects Allies.
      Added in `and not Ally()` , @JustKyrios' fix
    • Self-Fireball no longer explods multiple times when multiple characters are in range.
      Set it to "Self()" to solve this issue., @AllenLyu fix
    • Clown Face Paint/Clown Curse should no longer stack.
      "Shout_WildMagic_ClownCurse" - Added in `and not HasStatus(WYR_FACEPAINT_CLOWN)`
    • Vampirism Curse should no longer stack
      "Shout_WildMagic_CurseVampirism" - Added in `and not HasStatus(WILD_MAGIC_CURSE_VAMPIRISM)`
    • Fixed various typos, standardized wording on some things.

      Wild magic grease doesn't seem to work, either. I think the whole entry needs to be reworked for that one. I gave it a shot but I haven't had it roll on the table yet. I'll share what I put later, after I take a nap

      Thank you all for the fixes!

      I did trigger the Vampirism curse and Clown curse surges back to back, but they didn't come into effect? No curse in my conditions, no bonus to charisma or any visual on character, its like nothing happened. Did anyone else got this bug? So far other surges seem to work fine so I wonder if it's a problem on my end or not.

      (In any case thanks again for keeping this mod alive I'm having a blast turning my level 3 party into cats after a hostile spectator appeared while fighting the gnolls in honor mode. I live for this)

      I've followed these instructions and also downloaded the already fixed version from the comment above, but Percy is still invisible, for some unknown reason (also no clown effect). I'm on patch 7, if that means anything.

    This mod is fantastic. This was what I expected the Wild Magic to be when I first saw the option in-game. What are the odds some celestial planar might come and upload this into the in-game Mod Manager?

    For anyone wondering, the mod can be fixed pretty easily if you know your way around LSlib Toolkit.

    You just need to open the packed mod, remove ForceRecompile.txt file from the Story folder (this is a leftover of mod fixer which is known for breaking after patch 7), repack, and the mod loads just fine. I just did this and the game loads, I even checked and the effects from the mod are used (I only checked once, I don't know if all of them work as usual but my guess is yes). 

    Anyway, just leaving this here because this is an older mod so I don't know if it will ever be fixed.

      You're a Legend Man, trying this now, if it works and we still don't hear back from Valco here after a while, will consider re-uploading. Will start by just packaging the altered version with my collection (so that I can get that up and running again asap)

      Does anyone have a copy of this with the file removed? I'm using Multitool and I can't find it with a search. If there's more to finding it than dropping the .pak in and using the search function, could someone explain what step(s) I'm missing.

      @selunesmom It should unpack the mod into a local folder named something like "UnpackedMods". Check your configuration to see where it unpacks it then find the "WildMagicD100" folder in your file browser, and delete the .txt there. After that, go back to the top level of that folder (WildMagicD100) and drag the whole thing back into the Multitool to repack it. It exports as a ZIP, like you would download from Nexus, so you'll have to unzip it to get the new .pak.

    this mod is a masterpiece! update would be appriciated it otherwise the guys below are right it is fixable yourself. I wish one of yall will upload this in the built in mod manager in game

    I like the mod, could you make a standalone Percy the Kobold Summon mod. I need someone to replace Shovel who can be semi more useful.
