CIRCLE OF WILDFIRE IS NOW LIVE! This mod should be compatible with other mods as long as they don't modify the progression table for 2nd level Druids.
If you encounter any issues or bugs, please make a bug report rather than a comment so I don't have to move it manually. Also, please make sure you read the Potential Issues/Disclaimers section of the mod description before making a report—thanks! 😊
Is this mod compatible with other mods? Yes. Unless it changes the Druids progression table for level 2, it should be compatible. If another mod does change the progression table, i.e. it's another Druid related mod, I recommend using Compatibility Framework, which allows compatibility between subclasses. Any issues related to that mod should be directed to its comments section. This mod features innate support for that mod, and requires Script Extender to function.
Why doesn't the subclass show up in character creation? You probably either: 1) Didn't install it properly. Take a look at the installation guide at the end of the mod description. or 2) Haven't updated all your mods. Make sure that ImprovedUI and Script Extender in particular are up-to-date. or 3) Have other mods that overwrite it. Please place Community Library at the very top of your load order, and Compatibility Framework at the very bottom. If that doesn't work, try placing this mod further down in the load order. If the problem still persists, disable all other addons except the ones required by this mod, enable your mods one by one, and see which one is causing the issue.
X happens when I do Y, even though it shouldn't. Why? Your other mods are most likely causing a conflict. The first thing you would need to do is to update each and every single one of your other mods to make sure they're not the ones causing the problem. If you've done that and the issue persists, try respeccing out of this subclass before updating it, then respec back. If that doesn't help, disable all mods apart from the required ones and enable your them one by one to see which one is causing problems. Once you've done that and the issue still persists, you are welcome to open a bug report.
My mods are designed to be as non-dependent on other mods as possible, and I'm not responsible for issues appearing when playing with multiple mods. I will not go out of my way to accommodate or implement workarounds to make it compatible with mods other than the ones listed in the Required files section. If the authors of other mods that cause conflicts wish to do so, they may.
Will you make a custom class icon? I demand a custom subclass icon/I can't stand seeing a skull icon. I have no such plans at the moment. We'll see if I have the time and energy to spare in the future. The skull icon is a mod conflict. Read about those above and please do not bother writing a comment before you've read it.
That would require scripting, which I'm not comfortable setting up at all. I also don't want to steal others' work, so that's kind of off the map. The Spirit does hover via flags and passives even though it's not visible, since only certain humanoid creatures have those animation rigs in the game. I won't be adding duplicates of implemented spells as of right now, but we'll see if I decide to move them all over to a specific place instead of having them tied to specific subclass mods!
I love this mod and I think playing a druid that casts mostly fire spells is so much fun. but could you possibly rework the wildfire spirit to be in line with vanilla summons by giving it basic actions like dash, disengage, etc.? and could you possibly make it scale as you level up? it's a great option for early game, but by the time you reach even just the creche or grymforge, it's extremely weak. it's really the core feature of the class, and I want it to be just a teeny bit stronger. :)
some things that might help are giving the teleport someone spell a longer range (17 ft. doesn't really move anyone that far -- maybe 25 ft?), adding fire damage to its basic unarmed strike, and adding damage scaling based on level.
I could probably add some more basic actions, but since I have to pick from pregenerated action sets, I can't add just what I want. A lot of NPC models that usually don't perform certain actions, like jumping or sneaking, also won't have any animations while doing this, which'll break immersion quite a lot. It already has Dash, and it can already get out of harms way and move jump-esque distances using Fiery Teleportation. As for buffing the Wildfire Spirit, I won't be doing that I'm afraid. It already scales as you level up, seeing as most of its stats and abilities increase in power based on your Proficiency Bonus. It also provides the Druid with more than just a companion, seeing as e.g. Enhanced Bond improves your damaging and healing capabilities while you have it summoned.
Hi i have question is it intended behavior that if i install your wildfire mod then also your circle of stars mod, only one of them show up in game? this also happen with your paladin class mod, only the latest in load order loads, but still seeing the other that doesnt show up in class selection dye still being sold
PS: Is it possible to add a fire cosmetic option for your character in wild form and your summons like what you do in the Circle of the Blighted mod? Just a suggestion of course.
PS2: Your mods are great, I try them all and I love them all.
Thank you for the kind words, and I'm glad you're enjoying them! 😊 Unlike Blighted, this subclass doesn't really revolve around using your Wild Shapes, and the effects in Blighted were added since the subclass features specifically mention that your Wild Shape looks different. Maybe I'll look into it in the future though :)
I downloaded this a while back. Played with it a little bit but couldn't get into it.
Recently I noticed it was still in my load order, and was trying to respec characters into different classes... Holy crap was i sleeping on this. What a great mod! Thank you
I use vlads scarlett eldritch blast mods. Took his eldritch scholar feat. Now karlach is a barbarian wildfire druid, with an elemental fire eldritch blast and just ..burning everything! I love that the fire spirit uses her spell attack modifier (much easier to raise in game). This is a great class!
I play a path of the giant barbarian, laezel is a Drakewarden (she is obsessed with having a dragon) that uses firearms, Gale is an Alchemist poisoning everything and buffing everyone... This is the most fun ive had in a playthrough in awhile!
Hello, I'm trying to use a feat at every level mod, and for some reason it doesn't work with this mod? I have compatibility framework installed and community library... and script extender (along with mod fixer and improved UI) is there anything else I can do to make the feat every level mod work with your mod? Thanks
Not entirely sure if they're compatible. You'd have to write a comment on the Compatibility Framework page and see whether there's built-in support for those mods as well or if it's just subclass compatibility.
THANK YOU for this mod <3 I play a wildfire druid in DnD and this is my favourite subclass <3
suggestion: any option to choose/change other shape of the wildfire spirit :) I dont like the look of the elemental really, would prefer some kind of animal :D
Thank you for trying it out! As I mentioned in a comment further down, I did try out different types of spirits, but having multiple ones would be a lot of work since I have to find animations for each and every one, and animals in particular probably don't even have proper spellcasting animations. I figured a Needle Blight would fit the theme of a plant ravaged by a forest fire coming to life, signifying both the destructive and lifegiving properties of a Wildfire Druid's fire magic. There also aren't that many interesting beast models in BG3 sadly. We'll see if I decide to give it another go in the future!
Just wanted to +1 this comment. I see your answer, and thanks for all that you've done to bring this subclass to BG3, but I'd love the option to choose the spirit's model, much like a find familiar spell. <In my home game the spirit appears as a firey finnec (fae) fox>
I get adding new models to the game would be really challenging, and I'm not asking for that. Just putting it out there, I think it'd be cool to choose the spirit's model too. Thanks man. Hope your modding is going well. It's greatly appreciated!

Anyway one of my preferred subclasses both in Tabletop and in BG3.
Great work as always
These are some mods on the nexus with party teleportation if you need inspiration.
