If you install different versions of the same MOD, the old design and content may remain even if you delete it with ModManager ( For example, you may have changed appearance but it remains the same, or you may have changed the name or value of an ability but it remains the same ) . In that case, instead of loading the SaveData that used the MOD before, I think it will work if you start a New Game, use the replaced MOD, and then load the SaveData again. *I will not make any assertions.
Wow! Also, the content is quite difficult for programming amateurs! But I don't think it's impossible if someone put some conditioning into it (though I don't know if I can do it (lol)). By the way, does Holy Avenger have +3? In BG2 and IWD2, it was +5 or +6. I set this sword to +3 this time because I thought it would be too OP to set it to +5, so I lowered it when I upgraded it to Nexus.
+5 items don't exist in 5e. +3 is kind of a soft cap for legendary items, although there is a +4 greatsword that was published for release of the Stranger Things TV show.
Thank you for the mod. I've been looking for a Holy Avenger since launch. Just a thought, you could add counterspell once per short rest as a substitute for dispel magic that a Holy Avenger previously did.
Out of curiosity, is Pale Justice based on a unique model (like the other Pale Justice mod which uses the custom Anduril model), or is it using an existing in-game weapon model? Thanks!
This is an existing model. Its visual template is 0da39c2a-fbe7-42f6-8690-5ec5a40317db.
In the first place, Pale Justice is a normal sword with divine power, so I think a normal model would be fine, but since Cera Sumat is a Holy Avenger, I wonder if there is a cooler model. Longswords currently appearing in the game have almost the same appearance, including Rare and Very Rare. If there is an existing model with a cooler appearance, I would like to use it for Cera Sumat (I haven't seen much in-game data). Please let me know if you have any suggestions for how cool this model is.
The photos uploaded is clearly showing a claymore, which I assume to be a custom image as its not the typical rare weapon model? (e.g. Phalar Aluve) My issue is that the current visual weapon model for Pale Justice is not showing up in the game at all...
Sorry, I thought it was a normal appearance, but it was a custom appearance. I replaced the PaleJustice file, so if you want to use the new one or use the one that was previously uploaded, https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/1660 Please install this MOD. Maybe that's what the previous version looks like.
Great mod - thx for your hard work! Cera Sumat looks awesome. Re: Pale Justice: its invisible in my game on my half-orc paladin. I suspect maybe a bug with the custom claymore model? Cheers.
Oh no; I'm not complaining about the upload, the thematic or anything at all. I actually downloaded it already.
I'm just asking if you are dropping the original mod idea for Casomyr that I read you mentioned about bringing BG2 artifacts to BG3 or will you continue?
I'm sorry if I disappointed you. Initially, I had no intention of making a 1H sword, but since there was a needs for it, I decided to try making one with the same specifications. If I were to make one anyway, I thought it would be something that appeared in IWD related to BG. My direction was not necessarily to revive the artifacts from BG1 and BG2, but I wanted to introduce Holy Avenger and Holy Sword that were exclusive to the original class of use to this game. We live in an era where boundaries are disappearing, but I think there is a difference between discrimination and distinction. That's why I want to bring Paladin-specific weapons and items into this game.

Oath Paladin's Will: When used by the Paladin class (excluding Oathbreaker Paladins), Pale Justice deals an additional 1d6 Radiant damage.
Unholy Bane: Pale Justice deals an additional 1d6 Radiant damage to the Undead, Demons and Oathbreaker Paladins.
Unholy Slayer: Paladins using Pale Justice gain advantage on attack rolls made against the Undead, Demons and Oathbreaker Paladins.
Spell Resistance: Paladins using Cera Sumat, Holy Avenger are given more resistance to spell effects and conditions. +3 to Saving Throws.
Have a great day!
How will it be different from the current game?
Basically it's a +3 weapon, with extra 2d10 damage against fiend and undead, with an aura, but bigger aura for level 17 or above paladin

You should be able to use it by downloading 1.0.1.
