I noticed that mods that replace (not add) head models tend to be in loose files instead of pak files.
Is there a technical reason for that? The reason I ask is that I tried turning a head file (A shadowheart replacer) into a pak file, and I got the texture working fine, so I know the pak file is actually read by the game, BUT the head remains the same. So I'm just wondering if head replacers HAVE TO be in loose files.
I decided to finish the game and start over. And at the same time find a couple of mods to replace the looks. I saw this comment, replied to it, and then noticed that it was my own comment xD I wrote: "The guy probably wanted to say that this is what is missing for the perfect completion of this mod. At its core, this appearance is so good and it wasn't some kind of angry comment, and therefore this picture and your words are unnecessary. Society has been striking lately with its fear of condemnation and sees it where there is no condemnation even in hints."
I can't figure it out if it's just me, but I feel like the talking animations are a little "dulled." Is there a head that you personally find to be the best, as far as animations? I was on A2, I will switch to A1 to see. The switch should be safe, right? Also, is uninstalling completely also safe? They look great, though.

Karlach's Long Hair
Karlach's Glowing Horns
does it work for Karlach as NPC or only as origin?
