so, i think this bug is definitely my fault, so this isn't a call to fix it, i'm mostly just seeing if there's a way to sort it out. i'm playing on custom difficulty, but with all the combat setting set to tactician (i just wanted to tweak the camp supplies/gold costs lol). for some reason, this mod seems to be increasing the HP values of enemies based off their balanced difficulty stats, and not the tactician ones? i.e. i'm using the impossible option, so enemies should have 2x hp, and the hyena enemies have 24 HP, when they should have 30. i've tried switching the combat difficulty settings and messing with my mod manager, but it doesn't seem to do anything.
In the latest version of OSHT max lvl 12 the exp needed to get to lvl 2 is 3030. In the older version of this mod it was only 540 xp to lvl 2, 1548 to lvl 3, 2763 xp to lvl 4. In the new version you won't get to lvl 2 until you're you're almost finished with Act 1 it seems. Is this intended?
Yeah been thinking the same after playing a new game whit this mod and this dosent seem correct that lvl2 requires 3k xp. Had to come here and check. Sounds abit strange to change it from 540 to 3030. Could anyone verify the acutall intended xp table for this mod?
Has anyone been able to confirm how the exp tweak works (if it works at all) when they use the mod on a previously un-modded save?? I added this mod halfway thru act 2 but I can't tell if the levelling has actually been slowed
Here's the standard chart https://eip.gg/bg3/db/experience-table/ from what I've experienced, he jumped one level. So, level 2 instead of requiring 300, now requires 600
don't know man, like really, this person's question is probably the worst one I've stumbled on.
BG3 brought a lot of new people to modding once YouTube videos about BG3 mods started to pop up. By a lot of new people, I mean people who don't read, post irrelevant issues to bug sections, and now, well this one tops it off.
It not only makes no sense, it is a stupid thing to ask.
In the description it's clarify that it's incompatible, because the mod makes the exp slow leveling - You could try tactician plus if you only want it to be harded. Hope it helps!
I installed the mod when my character had level 3, the experience bar was filled by about 30%, during the exploration of the world, more specifically in the basement of the pharmacy, the experience bar was reset to about 5%. I downloaded the save and went through this place again, the experience did not reset. Then I began to prepare for a fight with goblins near the mill (I dragged barrels and boxes), talked to ogres and the experience bar dropped to 5% again. I thought the mod reduces the experience gained, and does not take away the experience already gained. Under what condition does the experience decrease? Should this be happening? How often will this happen?
what i understand : the mods does not lower the xp gain. It changes the xp table. Meaning how many xp you have to reach to go to lvl 2, lvl 3 etc... And I would like to know what the new xp table is because author did not disclose it in description

Is there a way to keep the xp points I've earned so I can go back to leveling in the vanilla fashion, after uninstalling this mod?

Maybe I can play it next playtrough!
