News update: For the patch 8 update I will release updates as a new mods to better group things. This will be more than an update, it will be a full V2 release. I've improved the voice to voice process by writing an exhaustive amount of my own code so that each time of file undergoes better pre-processing and post processing (Such as crazy spell vocals that needed echo removed.) Additionally, every voice is a custom voice AI model that I personally trained/ There will be no dependencies of public models that may have legal issues. Characters will be released with the following configurations: Male, Female, "Dwarfish" Male/Female , "Dargonborn / Orcish " Male/Female Characters will release 1 at a time, because it simply takes a long time to process all those lines. It should be about 1 a week once I am satisfied. (Once I find injury sounds and map grunts.) I expect the first release in a couple weeks.
Current state: AI Voice models complete 100% of character voices and sounds isolated (to the best of my knowledge). Every spell, grunt, moan, cough, and whisper.
Hi, sorry if that's a stupid question but I had a long break from BG3 and started again recently. Does this change only their fighting voice etc? It only works then, but when my character is talking to Lae'zel for example, she has her original female voice. I don't know if something just doesnt work for me, I'm on patch 8
Shadowheart_FtoM1_Remastered still works wonderfully even on Patch 8, with only a few pieces of missed dialogues. It's the perfect feminine-yet still decidedly androgynous voice, I absolutely adore it and I do hope you continue to update it.
Thank you so much for these mods!!♥ Any chance you could please update Shadowheart_FtoM2_Deeper? It does not work on patch 7
edit - I managed to update this mod (Shadowheart_FtoM2_Deeper) myself to patch 7 by following the quide by the wonderful OneoftheKharites that they posted here!!! It works great except for the first meeting (shadowheart in the pod) when the voice is really badly distorted, and except for the point-and-click/addon/spell voicelines unfortunately
But what about mods that change how people refer to others? Even with these mods they still call themselves by their original names and people will still refer to them as their vanilla gender. Changing text is all well and good but if I make Astarion into Astaria, "she" calls herself Astarion immediately and Gale then refers to "her" as him. Unless these references can just be removed?
