HOLY SH!T I almost spat my drink out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kudos to you honorable sir StarMoral! (Permagiggle everytime. I. Glance. At. That.) xP
Hello there, I hope you’re doing well today, and that everything in your gaming life and personal world is thriving—or at the very least, as balanced as the character sliders on the avatar I recently encountered... which, frankly, is to say: perhaps not entirely. I wanted to reach out with a humble request—or perhaps a gentle inquiry—regarding a certain character that I recently had the pleasure (or should I say, experience?) of witnessing. Whether I stumbled upon it via a community showcase, a mod release, a forum thread, or maybe a Discord avatar lineup, I can’t quite recall. What I do recall, vividly, is the deep, lingering impact this character left on me. Not impact in the traditional, admirable sense—more in the way one might remember a nightmare that refuses to fade upon waking. Haunting. Baffling. Unshakably... unique. And so, I come to you not only with curiosity, but with a certain academic interest. You see, I am truly fascinated—genuinely intrigued—by how the character came to be. There are decisions present—bold decisions. Choices made with what I can only assume was either radical creative vision or a complete abandonment of visual symmetry. The brow height alone is a mystery worthy of a university-level design course. The eyes? Positioned with such confidence that one has to assume they were placed without the burden of seeing them afterward. The nose—ah, the nose—a true sculpture in anti-proportion, seemingly reaching toward the heavens in rebellion against the rest of the face. And the mouth... well, I hesitate to even comment, as I’m not sure if that was meant to be a sneer, a grimace, or the moment just before one sneezes. In short: it was unforgettable. So, with all due respect—and a great deal of restrained bewilderment—I must ask: would you be willing to share the sliders for that character? I understand this may sound like an unusual request, particularly because slider sharing is usually reserved for characters that inspire admiration or provoke that classic, “I must recreate this masterpiece” kind of envy. But this time, I seek them for a different reason—research, you might say. I want to understand. I want to learn. I want to study the precise decisions—the creative journey, the path taken (and perhaps lost)—that brought this entity into existence. What was the goal? Was there a goal? Or was it an exercise in surrealist expressionism disguised as character creation? Please know, I’m not asking out of mockery. Truly, this is not about ridicule. It’s about documentation. We must, as a community, preserve and examine the extremes of our shared art form—so that others might learn what not to do. If you would be so generous, I’d love to receive the slider settings. Face shape, brow arch, jaw length, eye tilt, cheekbone severity, nose volume, chin projection—everything. I want to piece it together like an archaeologist stumbling upon the ruins of an ancient society and wondering, “What happened here?” Your contribution would be invaluable to the ongoing study of aesthetic boundaries in modern character design. And listen, I know that artistic expression comes in many forms. Maybe you were going for something unconventional—something that broke the mold and threw it off a cliff. And if that’s the case, you succeeded. This character broke rules I didn’t even know existed. It transcended beauty and dove headfirst into a realm of uncanny intrigue. I mean this sincerely: it’s a creation I’ll never forget, no matter how hard I try. So once again, I ask, with utmost politeness and scholarly interest: could you please share the sliders for that character? A screenshot, a breakdown, even a poetic explanation of what inspired it—anything will do. I promise to credit you as the originator of this... phenomenon. This moment in design history. This testament to the chaotic neutral energy that lives in all of us. And please don’t feel pressured. If this creation was meant to be a personal journey—something kept sacred, unshared, like a cursed tome in a forgotten crypt—I understand. But if you are willing to part with the secrets behind it, I assure you they will be handled with a mixture of reverence, awe, and mild psychological concern. Thank you, in advance, for your time. Thank you for your bravery in bringing that character into the world. And thank you, most of all, for showing us all just how far outside the box one can go when the box is thrown into a blender and reassembled blindfolded. Warmest regards, ShembotheShaman Amateur Anthropologist of Unusual Character Design
