Patch 7 seems to have made it possible to change racial cantrips at Withers. That is not a functionality of this mod. This mod isn't necessarily obsolete because it still lets you do it for free at level 2, and is useful before recruiting Withers
but lets be honest we're all respeccing at Withers for free anyway
You have to start a multiclass and cancel it (or don't) to reload the UI I don't want to hear that it doesn't show up for you. See Videos tab if you need help.
If your chosen class has it's own "Replace Spells" both won't show up at the same time. You can open multiclass, select, say, Rogue, change the cantrip, then back out of multiclassing again. It won't show in the leveling UI, but once you're back in game the selected cantrip will be on the bar.
Mod allows you to change the High (Half) Elf cantrips at level 2, pretty much expressly for the purposes of changing companion NPC cantrips.
This is somewhat necessary because these races get to choose their cantrip in character creation, but NPCs of this variety don't go through character creation, and get stuck with the default. You will still be stuck with the default until Level 2.
Not thoroughly playtested, but it only touches these races leveling to 2. Doesn't touch classes, doesn't touch other races, doesn't touch the cantrips themselves, or which are available, and they'll still use your Intelligence modifier.
Mod cannot be removed after leveling or respeccing, fire bolt will rear its generalized head again.
Incompatible with other mods that change High Half/Elves Level 2 progression. I believe that means it should be compatible with Unleashed (or other race altering mods), since those change starting stats. If anything uses the progressions.lsx to change the Spellcasting Modifier used for these racial cantrips, it's probably going to conflict.
