Does this maintain character functionality? For example, can you continue quests regarding the resurrected NPC or do they no longer function? Do merchants still trade? Can conversations still be progressed?
So, they don't function any longer, they don't join your party, and they retain their attitude. Is this a base mod for future work or does it have some purpose I'm just not understanding? I know that sounds like I'm being hateful, but I don't mean to be, I really am trying to understand the use, because it seems interesting.
Shame...maybe someone will eventually find a workaround for that so certain quest can be completed. Until then..thank you for this! Now my Murder Hobo adventures can continue in a new light that would make Dark Urge players be concerned!
Haha I didn't expect anything less. This is currently a gag mod, but you can use it with ImWayden's Recruit any NPC mod to add the revived corpse to your party.
Thank you for the mod. I hope you or someone make a working recruit/making the npcs you resurrect with the animating spores mod be able to join your party either by summon (like a familiar) or like a party member, since the Recruit any NPC is broken, not working with patch #3 and with a ton of bugs.
You can download the old version and face the tons of issues it has. I tried it, made my game feel "weird" like black icons on party, sometimes irresponsive and some other minor issues, like overall laggy. Either way, I broke my save. Cheers.
Through AI stupidity the prisoners in Moonrise Towers died. I found them in the Oubliette and carried their bodies back to Last Light Inn and then used Glut's Ring to reanimate them in the hope that I could complete the quest. They didn't react and just stood there, so I removed the mod and restarted the game. They are now alive with full HP—without undead status. However, they won't react, perhaps because some other trigger in the rescue hasn't' happened yet. I will be interested if they reappear alive and functional in Act 3.
I sacrificed Gale to BOAL and after about 10 hours of gameplay I got the game over after a long rest in act 2. Revived him with the ring and left him behind in the shadow lands.
For some reason, when I returned to my playthrough from February, Halsin lied dead next to Art and I couldn't proceed without him - even with Art's lute. I tried your ring to revive Halsin and it worked... he's alive and well, and I got through the cutscene with him and Art. He is, unfortunately, not very talkative at the lakeshore. Otherwise this would have completely saved this quest for me lolol xD Was worth a shot though!
