If the mod isn't working after the updates, uninstall and reinstall the mod and the dependencies. Make sure to install Baldur's Gate Script Extender with console, so that you can check if the mod is even loading. Make sure the mod appears in your modsettings file. If it doesn't appear in your modsettings file, move the mod a bit in your load order and save the load order until it does.
After the game launches, check Script Extender's console. You should be getting "Configuration for Mod Name" "#number of your mods mod configuration(s) loaded." Something like this:
Configuration for 'Oath_Spells': MinVersion 1; Feature flags: Lua Configuration for 'Respec_Spell': MinVersion 1; Feature flags: Lua Configuration for 'RichTraders': MinVersion 1; Feature flags: Lua 3 mod configuration(s) loaded.
If you don't see the mod's name in there, something is wrong on your end. Repeat the same steps. If you see any errors you can share them in your comment/bug report.
Really? i just downloaded and i have the red exclamation mark saying it requires script extender. I reinstalled everything so it´s a fresh installed and i used mod manager to download and install script extender.
Works for me on Patch 7, hotfix 28, single-player, and alongside all my other QoL, UI, Cosmetic mods (~50 total, DL'd all early Nov)... PC, Win10, using BG3MM (unless any mod description/etc says to do manual install)... Thank you very much for this mod! <3
Woohoo, still working heckin' good, with the new Patch 7 Hotfix#27 that Larian dropped on October 1st! \o/ ♥
I just updated my game today, and didn't even have to reinstall anything (so frickin' shocked!), and all my mods are still working hella fine (Steam; Manual installs)! Another big W for Larian, woohoo! ♥
Again, THANK YOUyakuzadeso for this hella awesome mod! ♥ :)
EDIT(18 October 2024, 2:05PM): Woo, just updated my game to Hotfix#28 today (Steam), and everything is still working hella fine. Didn't even have to reinstall anything, hella nice Larian♥.

Heya, so I finally got the script extender console working (idk why the guy who made the script extender didn't include to make the .json file) but zero of my mods load and the modsettings.lsx file never changes. Also on launch, this mod and the other "richer merchants" mods move to the inactive side of BG3MM. I'm at a loss of what to do here.
After setting up your mods on the installed side in BG3MM, make sure you press the "Save" button (looks like a floppy disk) and then the button to Export to the game. if you do not do this, all mods will revert to being uninstalled and not active in the game... and the modsettings.lsx file won't get changed.
Make sure you've followed Step 4 of this guide: BG3MM Mod install guide (I always click the Save icon prior to doing the Exporting, but maybe not needed).
Hi! It would be nice if you can specify what folders the files should be in. Especially because I have other info.json files and they will need to either change names or replace the other one. I imagine the .pak files all go in the mods folder, but others might not be able to make that assumption. I can't drag n drop the zip or the actual files into the BG3MM for whatever reason, so listing the file locations would be really nice. Thanks!~
Pretty sure you'd only need the .pak file for manual installation and it should go wherever your other mods are. You'd also need to add the mod in your load order file. Can't help any more than that since I use the mod manager for all of my mods. I also never had any issues with drag and dropping mods in BG3MM. You can try importing the mod from the File menu instead of drag and dropping it.
I'm not a pro at this, so idk what might seem like a dumb question lol, but what am I supposed to do with all the info.json files? Do I just not even need them on my PC at all?
The mod instructions are in the .pak file. These mod instruction files are located in the mod folder for BG3, typically located at C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods. The .json files are instructions for Vortex/BG3MM mod managers and to some extent the Script Extender. If you are not using a mod manager to install mods, then the .json files are probably not useful to you. Just copy the .pak file to the Baldur's Gate 3 mod folder and have at it. That being said, if you plan to install more than one mod, or any complicated mods, you should probably be using a mod manager to install them. A lot of mods write to the same files to make their stuff do what they want to and with a mod manager and a few extra files (script extender, native mod loader, and mod fixer and perhaps a library or two) and a semi-coherent load order, mods will play a lot nicer with each other. There are tons of videos on Youtube on how to use Vortex Mod Manager or BG3MM (a mod manager often recommended to people here on Nexus for BG3 players) to load your mods properly. I, personally, find Vortex has a friendlier interface for someone new to modding. But either one should work fine.
I have question if it's possible to make mod which deletes things which I sold to merchant after long rest, after awhile it's kinda annoying to scroll and look for new things when you see all these 999 gobling swords and bows you sold to them before + I find it not realistic that merchant have gold but all gear/trash you sold them he keeps all the time wit him+ new stuff.
I'm asking you because I dont see such mod and you r one of more active mod authors actually touching merchants.

Just installed this (Manual install) for the first time, after updating my game to Patch 7 (Steam), and looks like it's still good to go! :D
