If the mod isn't working after the updates, uninstall and reinstall the mod and the dependencies. Make sure to install Baldur's Gate Script Extender with console, so that you can check if the mod is even loading. Make sure the mod appears in your modsettings file. If it doesn't appear in your modsettings file, move the mod a bit in your load order and save the load order until it does.
After the game launches, check Script Extender's console. You should be getting "Configuration for Mod Name" "#number of your mods mod configuration(s) loaded." Something like this:
Configuration for 'Oath_Spells': MinVersion 1; Feature flags: Lua Configuration for 'Respec_Spell': MinVersion 1; Feature flags: Lua Configuration for 'RichTraders': MinVersion 1; Feature flags: Lua 3 mod configuration(s) loaded.
If you don't see the mod's name in there, something is wrong on your end. Repeat the same steps. If you see any errors you can share them in your comment/bug report.
Any chance to add an item to trigger the spell for this function? I am a gamepad user and tired of spells showing up and going away which would mess up gamepad selection bars (the reason I dropped the Appearance Edit Enhanced for the bumping respec spell)
The spell works the same way as the Withers respec dialogue option, I'm pretty sure it's the same function as well. You can try Wither's respec to check if this is a vanilla bug.
So new info. After I got it working and returned all of karlach item (with and without Scratch's Ball) and proceeded to a new dice roll check. The game crashed.
I have not tested this with Withers yet. Still trying to resolve what's causing the crash after Re-equipping her.
She literally has her 3 pouches that she starts with, few wine barrels, 2 potion, revive scroll, her items, and the nautiloid tanks. Nothing looked wrong. Started that same file multiple time and it wouldnt when I spoke to Gale. But if I equipped her than spoke to Gale it crashes.
Something might be corrupting all of the items. gonna test each item 1 by 1 now. Ughh
This could be completely unrelated and random as well. Could be a vanilla bug (baldurs gate 3 karlach crashes - Google Search). Could be a script extender bug (dice rolls made the game crash on a previous version of SE, and that was either related to SE itself or improved UI).
Update - Found the culprit. It's a Scroll of Chaos Blast (2 mods 5E Spells + Secret Scrolls for 5E Spells) created this non vanilla item. Kept Karlach Naked, equipped that - and crash.
I was so tunnel'ed on Scratch's Ball since it stayed on her hotbar, it only made sense & I've had this scroll on her for awhile. So IDK why it began to give me trouble now.

Just some info .The respec spell doesn't work on you when you are an oathbreaker paladin, talking to the oathbreaker knight and taking the vow again makes you able to use the respec spell again as long as you don't go oathbreaker again.
The mod page says you do still need to restore your oath, and that he has a mod to make that a spell as well. Since you can go to your camp and see withers at any time i'm just confused on the usefulness of this is
if you're someone who's gonna play the entire game with everyone as different (sub)classes than they start with (like me!), being able to change them the second you recruit them is nice over running around to grab everyone, then grabbing withers, then respeccing in a line and needing 700 gold to get it done, it saves time
ahh true I didn't think about changing their classes as soon as you recruit them. I generally make getting withers the first thing I do anyways. that makes sense then.
I suppose it could get tedious if you do it a bunch. Honestly I was just asking because sometimes it feels like there's so many respec mods that I start wondering if people somehow just missed withers entirely. Which makes me wonder, if you don't explore those ruins/find him, do you just miss out on respeccing completely? I feel like there's gotta be some failsafe for it right?

There is a problem using this it removes the war domain from clerics. during respec and character creation.
