For the Request, i will add some of them but first i'm trying to figure out the problem that being unable to dismiss them when they are added and not replaced with the base 12 hirelings. I already added Sazza and couple more but i'll release it once they can be dismissed without a problem.
With update 1.1 adjusted the races so they have unique abilities. Fixed not being able to recruit minotaur bug. With update 1.2 added race spells. For example Flind will have gnoll spells such as Seething Fury, Multiattack, Claws...
Hey friend-- I'm having an issue with Alfira. Once I let her out of my party, I'm not able to talk to her or dismiss her. She just sits in camp. Any advice?
WARNING! Do NOT install this mod at the moment. It breaks your save. If you try to uninstall it at all, no matter what, it will always crash your save upon launch. I like the concept, but not having the ability to customize the appearance of normal races like the dwarf is unfortunate, and now I'm stuck with the mod.
It might be a conflict with another mod you use or caused by something else. I haven't been having any crashing or save corruption issues with using this since it came out nor any of the updated versions. But there are some other bugs it does have like hireling races or backgrounds not being set right. I don't think it's a good idea to call the mod unsafe to use without fully checking since your claim isn't consistent for people.
I do wish the mod author was active still but they don't seem to be at all. Not seeing them responding to some bug reports or comments for a while now.
Yup, I am also having issues after uninstalling. At this point, it's either start a new game or continue with the mod. I was hoping to mess around with the vanilla Hirelings and the Magic Mirror. We'll just have to wait to see if a fix is discovered.
Like with any mod you should make a save before installing, so that you can load that if you don't like the mod. Adding mods alters the strings of code that get put down within the save, removing the mod can make those unreadable and "corrupts" the save. This mod works as stated and the only limitations are those imposed by BG3 in general.
well the claim is consitent for the mod on my End, not at all for the Phletora of Mod Combinations. i for myself did use it along with Origins and Origin Items, Alter App Risky, Origins and Hirelings, did uninstall it in end of Act I after making my two Hirelings naked and throwing Them into the Ogers which i didnt speak to till then. They were killed, means really killed, Withers ready;)Although they dont Trigger the old Skeleton in any Way:D and after loading at that point, all was fine. I think, when talking about using Mods, i dont have to do the normal blabla, like, save Load Order, check Modfolder for old/undeleted Versions, Reload all Mods in MM after switching before Game starting, refreshing mod Updates, send Order to Game, check Version of Script editor etc. We all know This , Pros that we Are:D( i so damn often forget one of those and blame something or someone else)
In my case at least, it's the Goblin race's UUID (possibly because I recruited Priestess Gut at one point). I can gut literally everything else from the mod and pretend it's not installed, but if I remove that, the save crashes instead.
It has a multitude of problems even in april I have to agree. If you don't think so, you haven't played enough of the game to realise. -once you swap people out, you can't rehire hirelings into your party, you have to fight them, kill them, and resurrect them after you have made sure you have a free slot in your party, with Withers. -can't have normal hirelings, can't change appearence -only recruited grukkoh, can't uninstall mod without crash next time on load, even with every companion dismissed. -can't remove the mod without breaking the save
Far from a perfect solution but if you want to switch one of your hirelings into your party you can dismiss one party member manually, kill the hireling in camp (they will fight back) then have withers resurrect them for 200 gold. To switch a normal character in just use the new chat options to swap them out. No way I can find to dismiss hirelings entirely and select new ones like vanilla but this atleast is something. Apparently my hirelings are forever Flynn (broken OP), Kagha and Gut
Immersion Idea: Since all of the original hirelings are dead characters of the past, it would be cool to have these only appear as a hireling after their original counterpart is dead in-game.
Hi Khione95. Are you still interested in this mod? I hope so. Is there a chance you could release the clothing as a set? Rohl's dress is not only beautiful, it doesn't remove the wearers genitals. So many dressess do. Would you release them as a clothing set? Camp and regular. It feels mean to summon and dismiss her a few times lol.
I love your mods. Are you planning on adding anymore characters to this mod? Any chance of Barcus Wroot? He already exists as an origin character, but I wanted to see if we could do it as a hireling.

because most mods break your save on uninstall, even if it's not obvious. it's a big decision you make, you can't just be popping them in and out.
