    Hey! For those that do not want to cheat too much, would you consider releasing one that adds this as an additional feat. The thinking would be: Once you get the element you want with Elemental Adept, you can now get the "Elemental Mastery" and turn immunity into resistance for the element you chose on Elemental Adept, or maybe leave it to choose, i dunno lol

    Does this still work without issues in Patch 7 soon to be Patch 8? Last time I tried to use a mod this old, it made the game unplayable because my characters were permanently mute if they ever got hit with Silence -- which the first skeletons you fight are happy to use.

      Seems to work fine for me -- at least no obvious bugs so far -- on patch 7. I have not encountered any enemies immune to my element to test if the piercing mechanic actually still works, but there's no crash or anything, and no issue with silence either.

    Does this still work without issue? Been looking for a mod like this just in case I wanted to try a poison or necrotic build.

    And why is this labeled "Unbalanced"? I would think letting other spells get access to the same Elemental Adept feature would be completely balanced.

      It's perceived as unbalanced because immunities in the game are one (of many) ways enemies are more difficult, as they completely eliminate the use of certain damage types. While elemental adept overcoming resistances makes sense, the argument (with which I fully agree lol) is that a better balance would be to have the feat overcome immunity but still do half-damage.

      I can understand the "Ignore Immunity" being Unbalanced, but that is an optional file that would be unbalanced, the main file that doesn't do that should be considered completely fair and balanced I would think unless those damage types were actually considered balanced in the unmodded game which they largely aren't.

    edited: I asked the same question someone else had and you answered them.  Was turning immune into resistant.
    Why am I having difficulty trying to delete this.

    W/e thanks for this mod, cant wait to try it out. Its an awesome idea and IDK why the devs didnt make it this way in the first place.

    Downloading this for sure. Any possibility of making the resistance/immunity a separate feat? So I spend 2 feats to get both? And I can hold off being too op. until later.

      You can take the feat multiple times. Granted this only makes sense if you're modding more feats in.

    Nice mod always wanted an upgrade for Elemental adapt, but never expected this, what bothered me on the name it says Elemental adept but you get only to choose 1 element, now i was wondering since you added more choices to choose from could you also add a version where you can either pick 2, 3 or even 4 choices? Like if want to be a multi element wizard you could pick Fire, Frost , Lightning and Thunder, or as cleric can pick Radiant Necrotic Fire and another.

    If it not to much bother to increase the number from 1 choice to either of those 2, 3 or 4 choices. personaly I think 3 choices pick would be most awesome.

      That not what I ment, I already get a feat every level from Unlock Level Curve mod, what I ment was instead of only choosing I element able to choose 3 elements, after all it's elemental adept which should mean you mastered more then 1 element.

      So instead there stand select feat passive (0/1) there stand Select feat passive (0/3)

    Thank you for this! Would also be cool if there was a version that ignores resistance and turns immunity of that damage to resistance resistance of that damage, like a tiered version but I can understand if you can't since that does seem like it would be a bit more effort involved.

      Hey, cool mod! Like the2ndbro, I was wondering if it would be possible to make a version that reduces "immunity" to "resistance" instead of completely ignoring it?

      I don't think I have the modding experience to do this. The only way's that I can think of would have me access every single enemy and change their resistances and immunities by hand. Maybe in the future if I find an easy way to implement it.
